If you think that's bad, how about $179k for a Range Rover Autobiography with 4800 miles?

is it just me or did the LaFerrari look like, WAYYYYY BETTER in the initial reveal....

one key difference I'm seeing is in the side-view mirrors being black as opposed to body-colored - and also the wheels - and it looks like some side effects don't look quite as striking on the production version

NO. How about a nice Defender?

I spent an extensive amount of time building Mustangs and searching them across the country, and I realized I wouldn't be willing to settle for anything but exactly what I wanted. And it doesn't make any sense to buy anything now.
I'll wait for at least the end of 2015 until I start to really look again. New Golf R, new Mustang, and hopefully some news about the Focus RS...

Yeah still love the F12. The differences I see are in the trim and finishes. Perhaps the initial images were of a decked out LaFerrari, although I'm having trouble understanding how there would be a "base" model.

Brand new, fully loaded Autobiography on the Longwheel Base came out to $145,465. The only other options are ton of dealer-installed ones without any price information. So, unless that car has every single thing under the sun from the dealer, there's no way I would pay $35,000 more for a model with 4,800 miles over what Land Rover advertises as one brand new.

Unless there's something hidden in the description, that doesn't make any sense.

Meh. I appreciate the time, money, and dedication put into it, but it's not my cup of tea. Minus the engine goodies, it has a lot of elements that remind me of the riced out Civics I see at import meets.
Either do the Stanced scene or don't. That guy is just asking to roast those puny tires off the car with 500Hp.
I guess that would be the case, but I can't imagine there being that long of a waiting list for such a car when most Range Rovers are swb.

As Srika said, it's a $400-500K V12 supercar in a league of its own compared to the other cars in the fleet. I imagine that high price is to cover the ridiculously high maintenance fees that will be needed as the car isn't built as a track beast like the rest of the fleet.
Some companies similar to Srika's with an Aventador also limit the track time it sees compared to the rest; I imagine Adventure Supercars may be the same.
Very intrigued at you guys coming to MSR, though. May have to reserve a spot with the Super Trofeo for June, though splurging on the Aventador is tempting.

Here's hoping the pessimistic outlook of the RS is not true then...

And dang, the GT-R is only $179.
I might have to do it at ACC this July when you guys are there. That would be awesome.
The 2014 NY Auto Show starts in a week.
What cars are you interested in seeing shown there?
I'm looking forward to the finished 2015 Mustang, the new Mk7 GTI (though I hope the US Spec Golf R is there). Maybe the next Miata?

Definitely interested in the next Miata. Wondering what they're planning to do with all the "Skyactiv" technology they've been building. Should result in a Miata sub-2500 lbs, hopefully. Probably get great gas mileage too.
Non-power hardtop Miata is still a car I'd like to have.

Or is that a regionally Canadian thing since I'm in the land of giant@$$ pickups and SUVs?
