General Car Talk Discussion Thread
check this out, this is kind of motivating me to start drawing again - I used to draw and design cars when I was a kid straight through high school. And when I started college I actually was interested in going that direction, but that kinda fizzled somewhere along the (early) line
. I didn't know they still start from pencil and paper - I mean that's how I was doing it - and since I don't know how to do it on a computer, I figured I was a dinosaur at this point. But seeing this guy starting from paper, is motivating.

^^^Okay, is it REALLY her car or is it her son's and she's getting drive it for the pics and vid? The answer to this question will determine whether I go fling myself off the closest tall building for if it REALLY is her car, then the car-gods HATE ME.
btw he also has this, which is for sale now: '93 968 with 19k miles

19K & only $15,100 on the current bid?! Either 968's are really, really affordable, or he's just looking to move the car. I figure a 968 in such mint condition with only 1,000 miles/year would fetch $20K easily.
Shame he's in Chicago & I can't afford Porsche maintenance fees; I would love to own that car.

. Surprisingly, when I get into the passenger side or even the driver's side in the rear, I don't put my elbow down. Besides, 90% of the time I'm driving, my arm is on the armrest.
I can't do cars without an armrest. The RSX got me with this. I got into one and I naturally put my elbow down as I was getting in, but there was nothing there...damn near fell into the passenger seat
