A local wrap company is finding a BRZ to sample their clear bra products. The owner was wondering if I'm down to run 2 small 6" x 0.75" decal on the left & right side of my rear windows. Should I do it? He seems very genuine.

Just poking fun that you are talking about getting one in the future. Might as well mod it and make it look sweet!

Tell them to throw in a free front clear bra and they have a deal.

Could really help protect for those freeway trips and track days.

I had a 2014 Sienna as a loaner for a week that I put 1800 miles on while I was waiting for my subie to come in and I loved it. Such a nice smooth ride.

Yes, definitely! I like minivans as my 2nd car for sure.

I'm going to ask him to throw in gloss black roof wrap! Ha!

Minivans are nice. I like it. I was never a fan of SUVs.

No, you should ask him to throw some springs/coilovers on it so you can lower it.

Picking these up on Jan. 24th track day at SOW. A seller is attending the track event. He's coming from Vegas. So yeah, I was going to drive up to Vegas to pick it up but no need to now.

This is today. My friends and I went out for a fun driving. Drove out to Malibu and Latigo Canyon road. It was a blast.

This is from last night. It was pouring pretty hard in LA yesterday. My friends and I went up to Angeles Crest Highway for fun. Took my wife's Avant since the weather was really bad. Our Avant gained another level of respect from me last night. The car was PLANTED during the entire canyon run. It just didn't give in much at all. When we reached about 5k altitude, it was raining very hard and super foggy. The car didn't mind at all. Just loved it. My friend with S5 said the same thing. We were pacing at pretty good speed throughout the run, but the cars were pretty planted. My friend with his new M4 was being very cautious though. We told him 100 times before the run... do NOT do anything stupid. haha

Anyway, it was fun. It was VERY different from the dry runs obviously.

Yeah, it was actually a very great experience.

Of course, we took it very gently from the get go since we are just up there to have fun, not to race anyone. In the beginning, we all had no experience in a bad weather + night condition, so we were VERY, very gentle on the run. All of us were very tense and super focused.

But as we went through about the half, we were much comfy. The only thing we had to look out for were the rocks. That was it!

It's so very rewarding to have a nice drive at night when it's raining!

And oh yes.. RS3 in the wet.. I did that for one session at Buttonwillow. I know exactly how shitty it is. hahaha

It's definitely the BEST street tire for the tracks though. No doubt. Nothing beats it in terms of grip!

Oh yes. It's been raining for quite a bit in LA since December. Whenever I drive my car on the freeway, I have to be super careful with speed. haha I usually just stay in the right lane doing 60 mph.

haha I asked one of my photographer friends to do a photoshoot for me after everything's installed.

Not sure how low my car will go. Probably like 1" all around or something. I'm going to get it aligned and corner balanced at West End. I'll let them know that my car is a DD and one track day a month toy. They will change the height and all other setting themselves. Heard they are the best in the business!

It is not hard to install. If you can change your brake pads, then you can do coilovers.

Yeah. I'm gonna help out my friend when he installs it, so I can do it next time.

Heard BRZ is really easy to do it. My friend said that it usually takes him 1.5 hours to finish it.

There are A LOT of variations. Different routes/short cuts and sections.

But the typical run that we do at Angeles Crest Highway is like 16 miles one way. So, it will be like almost 40 miles doing uphill and downhill.

That Latigo Canyon road is about 11 miles one way. That one is really tiring so we usually do one way and take the easy way out from there since that road leads out to 101 Freeway.

Nice. I usually take once a month and do a 150-200 mile of street driving. I do lattigo, stunt, la tuna, bouquet, san fransciquito, and angeles crest. Start in Malibu, basically finish in Lancaster.

Agree. My bucket list is roads in the swiss alps.

For my LA driving, I do it random weekday 6am-lunch or so, when all the losers are at work
