Canceled the track event. My oldest puppy started having some sort of seizure.. vet says i need to keep my eyes on her at all times for the next couple weeks..

Going out for a nice drive up to Angeles Crest Highway in an hour with two friends though. One has a modified E92 M3. One has a Maserati GT. Fun times.

Anybody in LA area wanna join us?

In-N-Out after.

After like 5 months, the rear diffuser is finally on.

It took way more time than it should have at the shop. But it's on. Looks cute.

It doesn't look manly though, really. lol

Anyway.. man I want to drive up this mountain again.

The route from the top to Mt. Wilson was just like Touge style. Super tight corner after corner. Mostly 2nd gear on the top rpm range. It was insane. You can see others had done naughty stuff up there as there are a lot of skid marks of cars understeering into the wall.

The normal ACH run is obviously pretty fun too but it's usually much faster corners with mostly in 3rd gear on the high rpm range.

I'll be picking this up tomorrow from a local guy. A brand new set for $170 which is a steal.

It takes like 10 minutes to install, so if I don't like the look of it installed, I can basically resell it right away. Ton of people wanted to get it but I was the first one to call it dibs. :P

That road is way too narrow and the corners are too tight to go faster. And you do NOT want to do double laning.

You can see the traction and stability control kicking in pretty often also. lol

I usually go faster when I go with a friend or two. There's no reception up in the mountain. So yeah, there's zero reward for the added risk. haha It's fun enough.

Just picked up the tailight. Gonna go install it right now. Will post some pics.

When I lived in Austin, TX, there were a couple roads that, though fun, were a little hairy at night if you weren't familiar (I wasn't). Not necessarily 'canyon' roads, but constant tight switchbacks with a dropoff to the lake on one side.

Yeah, it's much harder at night especially if you are not familiar with the road. I've done a lot of ACH runs, but this was my 2nd time running this Mt. Wilson route. It's SUPER FUN but scary because the next corner comes up extreme fast. And I don't know how it looks like. haha Looking at navi obviously helps tremendously but it's hard to look at navi while driving fairly fast.

Anyway, I really like this! Looks freaking hawt with the running light on!

Same here. Doesn't look bad but I liked the stock ones better. They remind me of those Altezza style tailights that everyone was throwing on everything a while back.

Can't say that I'm a fan either...sorry!
How about putting a red vinyl or spray over it, then you'd still have the running light.

Man.. my wife says the same thing.

Alright. I'll sell it right back or try to trade for Clear Valenti.

This actually looks pretty good in person though.. My wife says it looks too "young". I think she meant "rice".

I am not too proud to tell you that the majority of the ricey stuff I've slapped on my car over the years, I get spared ridicule because my wife calls it out before I have the chance to be embarrassed by posting it on the internet!

I think with white, the contrast of red is sooooo nice, man...I'd have to see the other options but what MEKO did with his, I think would look great on yours.

Haha yeah my wifey told me that they looked too young when i showed her the listing pic. I bought it anyway to check it in person since the deal was awesome.

I may pick up on this latest Valenti Groupbuy when I sell this Winjet. $260 for the brand new Valenti is great.

Get a suspension to raise more?

That will happen next year after more track days on the stock suspension.

Found a buyer for the tails, but I'm not sure if I want to sell it.

The car still looks pretty good with the Winjet in person. Will think it through for today and make a decision!

The Spyder tail is a no-go for me. Don't like it at all. The TOMS is actually pretty underwhelming in person. Looks too plain for me. And it's the most expensive one out of all at like $400. Loved so much in the pictures though.

The Valenti V4 is on a GB @ $260 shipped and it's on til 27th.

Hmmm

if someone will buy them...sell immediately before they change their mind and realize they made the same mistake you did.
