Faster cars in the front. Slower cars in the back. The front pack control the pace.
Fun times! Leaving in 3 hours. Should be fun. We have 6 cars total I think. 1 BRZ / 1 M3 / 1 335i / 1 S2K / 1 FRS / 1 Si.

Well, more than 6 cars came out. It was sooooooo fun. A heavily modified S2K brought his friends who all had modified E46 M3, 370Z, 135i. They were all pretty damn fast.
Spend 2.5 hours in the canyon and went to In-N-Out to finish the night.
And just went to car wash again and cleaned the car. Too much dust on the car from the mountain

Oh in fact, yes! My friend has the same type of E92 M3 that I was looking at. 6MT. No Navi.
Do you know how much $$$ he has to pay for his mods/consumables/labor? I spend about 1/4 of his budget to do the same thing.

You're also about 1/4 as fast...and your mirrors don't tilt.

When I pay off this car and my warranty runs out, yes, I'm going to S/C it. By then, this is going to be my 2nd car.
And this is why I'm not touching my engine til later! No point for me. I'll just add in coilovers and call it a day. Want to up my skillset at track first.
It's amazing how fast this car can go around the track with the right driver...

There are a lot of SC kits for this car now. Most of them are +/-$5k. I talk to my friend who has a SC on his FRS. He said with a lot of hook-ups and right mix of supporting mods, it should run around $6k which isn't bad at all. You can easily get 250-300whp from it. That's a FAST car for a budget of $31-32k.

0-200 run video on that kit. Wow.
This is really fast.
Looks like it took 14 seconds to get up to 115mph.
It's as fast as E92 M3 at that pace. How ironic.

The HKS v2 definitely has my attention, and its not terribly expensive. I prefer the powerband these sort of kits provide; I think it fits the personality of the car much better.
Things to consider for boost:
-dyno tune (canned tunes are OK for getting you to the dyno) $600ish
-clutch $700ish
-header $1000ish
-depending on pressure, WMI kit or e85 $400+
-catch can $100
-coilovers $1000ish
-motor, transmission, and diff mounts (the engine moves A LOT) $600ish for all
-better brake pads $150
-down force (the ass will step out a lot) $750ish, depending on what you get
So that's about $4900 in supporting mods, leaving out the wmi/e85 option. Add both and the cost of tuning rises as well.
Oh, and don't forget the wideband or any other gauges you want/need to run. With this engine, oil pressure is a good one to monitor.
