This is for any of you who do street photos (I know is300 does)
If you ever get people confronting you
http://photojojo.com/store/awesomene...aphy-spy-lens/
Not sure if this is practical or even worth looking at.
I assume it would cut some confrontations but the guy across the street may see you
Let me know what you guys think!

it's how you're behaving too, if you look suspicious, then... yeah, they might know... I usually have that confused look on my face, as if I'm trying to figure something out on the camera. And the camera doesn't have to be perfectly leveled because if it's kinda tilted, then it's not as obvious (just crop later in in pp). I guess it's all how you pull it off.
during the winter or when it's cold, I like going out wearing my beanie because I guess I kinda look intimidating (when wearing the beanie)... I mean to a point where the homeless don't even approach me for change
I guess even if people "think" I'm taking a picture of them, they don't bother confronting me.

If somebody ask you if you took their picture, just be honest. and if they asked you to delete it then just do it. Just a common courtesy.
ok guys. hmmm 40mm f/2.8 or 50 1.4?
of course the 50 would be the obvious choice but its still too tight (about 80mm) on a crop to shoot with in certain places. but the the 40(about 62mm) is bit more reasonable. i would like to have a 35 or a 24 but not really to looking to spend that much for them at this moment.

But if you can find an i5 for not that much more, go for the i5. But I'm only saying that because I'm an IT guy myself and I always want the best. I guess you can relate that to camera gear

what the hell did they do to Photobucket??? I really dont use my account since moving to Flickr, but still use if for anything non photography related. I can barely even figure out whats going on, and couldnt view my own pics larger than almost thumbnail size before getting frustrated and closing the page.

I thought it was just me.
I don't know wtf i'm doing in there anymore. Maybe I should try flickr.

I don't use photobucket (because the photo quality sucks - I wonder if they have improved this by now) - but just for fun I went and looked at my account to see the changes - looks like a nice new interface, and I easily see the "Upload" at the top, and everything else looks arranged nicely and intuitively. I don't see what the problem is.
I mean it's not like going from Word 2003 to 2007/2010... or other situations where they've turned something upside-down...

edit: actually, the new format seems to be fairly faster on the PC, not sure about the app
