Used. But from the pics it looks minty. Hopefully it's minty when it gets here. Since I sold my 50mm f/1.8 and maybe get a buyer for my 10-22. I can offset the price of this lens

 

what lenses do you have left after selling those?

 

Just the 24-105L. Probably next month I will buy new a 50/1.4

Yes it will be 37mm as my widest FL

 

I guess it's "to each his own..." but 37mm just wouldn't cut it for me.

The problem is that my 10-22 is a crop lens. I am just setting up so that if I go FF that I won't have this dilemma. I could always get a 17-40L.

 

Besides I am on the lookout for a 5Dc as a 2nd camera. I have been seeing it for 600 to 700 used.

 

So do you planning on selling the 7D?

Srika, how's the 5Dc's AF system? I know that on the 5d2 it's notoriously bad.

 

its the same on both cameras, they didnt change it.

oh shit. you may have a real problem with the 5D. it's AF is horrible compared to the 7D.

 

only 9 selectable AF points... it could be severely limiting to you - and if you've been accustomed to the 7D it's gonna be tough. can you play with one to see what it's like.

 

yea for me coming from a 1D, i cant have no less than 45 af points

damn so my 1D2n goes for about 650-800 used..

getting to the point where its not even worth it to sell it.


if i sell it for say 800, id still have to shell out ~$2000 for a 5D3/D800

 

somebody on POTN put their 1D2 for 1000 and put specially on the title "priced to sell"

 

that wont sell, what ive seen on recent sales are 650-800 for it.

the 1000 would have to be a super low shutter count and pristine body.

my body is in good condition, but i last checked my shutter count was around 38k

 

it had like over 100k or so. but i can't find the thread anymore.
