Srika, I have to disagree with you. Though the color photo shows the vibrance, the b&w one has the contrast and shadow that gives it depth, not to mention character.

I love the B&W version Srika! Colour only distracts from the nice light and shapes.

With a new job and a 10-month-old at home, I've had next to zero time to pick up the camera for creative projects lately. However, I try to give my Mom something creative for Christmas every year, so I dusted off the camera today and made this for her:

x2

The reflections in the wood flooring seem much more vibrant in the b&w picture. It makes me focus more on the picture, whereas with the color version, I focus mainly on the pins and thats it.

My family and I went to DC for a few days over my fall break and we stopped by my uncle's grave in Arlington. My dad sat like this for about 45 minutes in complete silence:

Very solemn, do you remember which section he is in?

They just laid wreaths and I'm going to try and go this week or next. If one on the sections, I could try and locate his grave and take a picture.

Section 65, I believe it's at the intersection of McArthur Dr & Bradley Dr. Grave #1782.

That would be great if you could take some pictures for my family and I. If you don't get around to it it's no big deal, but we would all greatly appreciate it

Might be a little late, but congrats on the new job and baby. And that shot belongs on a note card at Hallmark.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it.

I worked at a bowling alley for 4 years so I love the shot of the pins. Did you go behind the machines and check them out? I worked league nights and would have to stand on top of some and manually feed pins in. I can't tell you how many times one of those belts caught my leg.
