Photobucket used to be really good, especially for mass linking. But their site revamp is muddled and non-intuitive.

The quality of the images has dropped, but not as bad as I thought because I was looking at my rMBP...when I looked at my old MBP they looked fine. Not as sharp as they really are, but good enough to get the point across.

I agree with mass uploads, that was a really great feature and the UI is really horrible now.

yeah, I guess I do that quite often too. Last couple times I went paintballing, I didn't play much, ended up taking pics more than anything else... and this is coming from someone that was totally addicted to the sport from 2008-2010

I went back to the Arnold Arboretum in Boston again yesterday. We went late, so I didnt have a lot of time to explore. The place is massive though! We are planning to make frequent visits there, so there will be more to come!

Took this photo at the 2012 NAIAS, but was unable to process it at the time, either due to my lack of experience or because LR4 is just that much better than LR3, but I think it was a little of both.

My two year olds keep trying to take and use my GF1 and D800. I remembered I had my old SD800 Elph sitting in a drawer and gave it to them. Solomon has already figured out how to turn it on and off, and has just been running around snapping pictures.

Of course 99% them of deletes...but I might post a couple later that arent bad...for a two year old.

not HDR, I used the "Dark Contrast" filter of the Nik Color Pro 2 plugin with Lightroom 5 beta... so I guess if anything "tone mapping"?

I wouldn't call this street photography for a few reasons - namely because there is no real "emotion" in the shot - there is no feeling being conveyed. Also it has more of an 'architectural' element to it rather than a human one.

Went to dinner with a friend and his wife last night, they just had a baby and are looking to buy a decent camera. I had my NEX 5N with me and they asked about it, this was demonstrating the "handheld twilight" mode.

looks great, how much post processing did you do on that?

Very little, I corrected the lens distortion, there a couple "hot spots" on the lights that I reduced, but I didn't touch the noise reduction tab

Boy...It seems the Sony sensors are light years ahead of canon.

I had a feeling you would say that - and that is great, because it has a very 'natural lighting' kind of feel to it - real pleasing to the eye.

but keep in mind, the noise reduction/handheld twilight mode only works in JPEG And isn't ideal when there are moving objects... (It takes 5 quick photos and process them by overlaying), there would be ghosting like effects if there are.

Its done with a rig on the car and you photoshop the rig out.

21foot alumnium rig arm
suction cups

f8 roughly 2-3 seconds for background blur
push the car while the shutter is open
