No, you can't filter the Sigma 12-24 HSM, not the screw on type anyways

here's a screen shot of LR5 when I exported it (so it went from import to export with no adjustments)

i vaguely remember reading something about wide angle lenses will naturally darken the sky or something in some scenarios.

on the Canon 17-40 + FF you get vignetting and soft focus at the corners from f/4.0-8.0

you can filter, but only have to hold up a square ND filter to it.

I usually do, but I belong to some forums where sometimes people request for photos taken with no pp, uploaded straight from SD card. So, this particular shot was taken in JPEG for that purpose, I did switched it to RAW and took some more but I decided this one unprocessed was just fine

@Italiano Unfortunately every point Sarlacc made I would have to agree with, and to quote Sly Raskal " If you post something on a public forum, be prepared for anything someone else has to say".

Don't take that in a bad way either, all it will do is make you a better photographer help you learn and grow

Anytime I post anything on here I hope people pick my stuff apart. You have to be able to take constructive criticism. That's what separates the men from the boys :wink:
