I effin LOVE those!!! You could print a series and hang them as a group in any room in your house and they would look fantastic!

Thank you! And absolutely. The recipe for the bubbles is:

6 cups water
1cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
2 cups (16 oz) dishwashing liquid*


In a large bowl (at least 3 quarts) stir water and corn syrup until combined.

Add dishwashing liquid and stir very gently until well mixed. (Try not to make any bubbles.)

Dip (don't stir) bubble wands into bubble liquid and blow bubbles.

I cut it in half and still have TONS left, so I'd modify unless you want to blow bubbles for the next year.

I just used the body of a plastic pen to blow the bubbles through. (A straw was recommended on one website, but I didn't have any..the pen worked fine.

I used my 100mm macro at f/4.5-6.3, but mostly at the tighter end of the range. I wish for even a little more DoF in a few of them, but mostly am satisfied with it.

^Concept is nice, would really benefit from a second light directly behind the camera and about 7-8 feet high, aimed down to knock back those harsh shadows. An angled reflector (whiteboard, etc.) would work too.

Is the book really that big or is it just close to the camera to hide the flash head?

The book is that big..Had a continuous light source on 30% power above camera..About 5 feet up..Should have raised it higher for the shadows..Wanted the impact of the glow coming from Book..Not sure if the shadows were killed would get the same look..Will have to try that next time..Thanks for the input..Book is huge..lol

I kinda like the shadows in the pic, it add some drama. Freak'n amazing shots on this page guys.

Played with a fog machine tonight. They didn't come out how I had planned, but cool none the less.
