I like that a lot, as to the lens flare, making them a little darker would probably benefit the photo well. Right now, they're a little bright and my eye went right to them.

hope you don't mind an edit on your fine shot, it also works nice in B&W - and regarding the flares - easily removed using a cloning or spot tool.
