Hoping Mazda keeps afloat. They seem to be having a decent resurgence around here, seeing a lot of CX5s on the road & a few CX30s
Maybe the MX30 being their first dip into partial EV brings some development to the table.
Would hate for Toyota to turn one of the best driving lineups into bland vanilla appliances.

the problem with $7500 credit is that consumers will wait untill it passes. so they will hold of on purchases
second with this credit once pass. Consumers will not be in hurry as they still want to put there choice and need of vehicle. A person looking for Minivan or body on frame SUV will not consider electric at this point.
it will increase pressure on ICE vehicle to give discounts.

Looks like they're in no hurry to bring the Sky-X to the US.
Not sure if/when we'll get the MX30, or if that'll lead to more rotary-generator models.

That's exactly it. Stop with the rotary BS. No one cares lol. The rotary isn't a good idea, it's a terrible one. If it was feasible, everyone would be doing it.

there is no on sale yet. so near term $7500 wont convince many people to buy electric rather force consumer to wait vehicle of there choice as credit is not running out.
there is no penalty of keeping ICE vehicles unless gas tax is increased.
I still prefer Toyota Plugins in BOF.

I would. Heavily considering a 4xe Wrangler.
I see TONS of new Mazdas on the road all the time. They look cool, are the right price, and drive fantastic. I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon. The only thing that's going to kill them is if they keep trying to invent novel versions of making the ICE engine better. That ship has sailed. Run what you brung and start electrifying.

Oh damn, do they even have that long to live? I thought Tesla was going to have 90% of market share of all cars sold in the world by this time next year...

You guys are Neanderthals. Anybody who drives an ICE vehicle is literally subhuman. Myself included.

Tesla receives massive order for its semi trucks.
https://electrek.co/2020/11/05/tesla...s-biggest-yet/Tesla (TSLA) has received a massive new order of Tesla Semi electric trucks from a truck leasing company.
It might be its biggest order for the Tesla Semi program yet.
“Today, Pride Group Enterprises (PGE) is announcing that it has reserved 150 Tesla Electric Semis with the option to increase to 500 trucks. Sam Johal, Pride Group Enterprises CEO, announced that the company has placed a deposit to secure the initial units and build slots.”
CEO Sam Johal commented on his company’s new Tesla Semi order:
“With support from one of our long-term financial partners, Hitachi Capital, we are very excited to bring this innovative product to our strong customer base, helping forge a new path in clean transportation. We believe that electrification is the way of the future as we work together across multiple industries to reduce our carbon footprint. As well, we have the option to increase our order as we gauge customer acceptance of this new technology.”
At 150 trucks with the option to buy 350 more, this could be Tesla’s biggest order of Tesla Semis yet.
It would be worth between $22 million and $100 million depending on the final number of trucks and the configurations.
Pride Group Enterprises would have to have placed a deposit of at least $3 million with Tesla to secure the order.
The group operates a dozen locations in the US and Canada and it plans to make the trucks available to its leasing customers based on demand across the regions.

Nice! I do think commercial trucking is a sector where EVs can make a huge impact.
The instantaneous, prodigious amounts of torque and drastically reduced emissions compared to semi-trucks is tremendous. A typical downside of BEVs is the increased weight, but this should be negligible compared to the benefits.

Does your car do this? Oh no you listened to ssftsx and bought the car with the smaller turn radius instead. Good luck fighting this in court
p.s. This feature was added through a free software update. Does your car get those?

Thanks to EU regulatory credits they make more money selling an EV in Europe that was made in China, that leaves less EVs to sell in China. This country by country month by month reporting is dumb, Tesla is selling every EV they make and they have two factories supplying the entire world, there will be ups and down month by month in certain regions.

Seems like better games and probably an App Store is on the horizon for Tesla if they’re going to be putting in an AMD GPU in their system.

The 56 stall V3 250kw Supercharger location is now open in Firebaugh, CA
I think that's the biggest public Supercharger in the world, they just opened a 64 stall charger in Giga Shanghai to charge new vehicles as they come off the line but I don't think that's open to the public

Most of them are but there are also locations that need a lot oso many there f stalls, this is a location off of a major highway in a state with a lot of Teslas, they call them the California Camry because there is so many of them. During the holidays there's been issues with long waits to charge. This location will be able to handle the holiday rush

European proposal to end ICE cars by 2025
At least the some of the experts who made a proposal for European Union Commission are in agreement with me.
