Three Wheelin'
Car looks much better. Excellent refresh.
BTW...not sure if this was a typo but according to the brochure, the "VP" accord - value package - has a whopping 2 speakers. Thats right, 2. Is the correct, or what.

-better fuel eco
-nicer interior (better trims, less plastic)
-more features...HID, memory seats, bluetooth, better audio system, cooler gauges, etc
-WAY better handling (and VSA comes with the TSX, but not the Accord)

Okay, now look carefully (very carefully) at the tachometer.. look beside the gear position indicator. Am I the only one who sees a dark black box? Is that the smart maintenance light, or is that a possible SportShift box?

I just went and took some pics at the dealer. They had a redondo Red SE and a 6-speed Alabaster Silver. I must say that I actually prefered the silver. I hate the 03-05 in silver because it looks too ordinary, and actually RRP was my fav color on the 03-05. But on the 06, the red, i dont know, it looks sorta funny. It doesnt go as well with the new grille as the silver. The silver looks really classy with the chrome and taillights.
I'll upload some pics later tonite...im too lazy now.
Actually heres one teaser I guess.

The interior is really nicely done, but re-doing the rear just brings to light that the whole exterior was pretty much a bad idea from the start. The profile sucks the same, the front end sucks the same and the rear is fixed, wonderful.
Adding the 6-speed in the sedan was a nice touch that really shouldn't have taken Honda so long and should be repeated in future models, but I would think people who like driving a sporty sedan like a car that at least looks slightly sporty..can't see taking that over an Altima Se-R at the price they are asking...

guess these owners are gonna have the same problem 01-02 CL owners did, with scratched rims in car washes...

I don't like the back end. The horizontal surface will act like a great surface to scratch and the perfect snow-catch. Something about it says Nissan Sentra.

actually the back resembles the current Acura RL a little more now, which is good or bad when you think about it.
also, why did Honda decide to put the name "Accord" emblem on the left side now? i like the traditional right side location.
