Some nice factory 19" wheels, that's a good start. But thats one frickin huge honkin nose, the grill doesn't look too bad (dare I say is it growing on me maybe?) but I still feel like it could be better. Not diggin the barbeque-grate grills on the sides though.
oh and it looks HUGE! As in RL sized+

I just noticed somthing interesting in the press release,
"The Acura lineup features five distinctive models including the RL luxury performance sedan, the TL performance luxury sedan............."
what's the difference between "luxury performance sedan" and "performance luxury sedan"....

Black will great...with a chrome black grille...or darker silver like the pic.
Shame in real life its going to be bright chrome silver and stick out like hooker in a debutante ball.

and wait, looking at the headlights, did they get rid of the bi-xenons?

Ok now that its blown up that grill looks hideous! For some reason I thought it aligned with the headlights, but nope, a fail just like the misshapen facelifted RL.
Didn't seem like too big of a deal before and it still isn't but the bulge over the fender in the shoulder line =
Not a good look....

Well, I'm not quite sure how I feel about it, but its certainly better than I thought it would be. Given that all of Honda's recent designs have been complete failures, I was worried.

Doesn't look to be that bad, but that damn grille spoils an otherwise decent looking car
Wonder what the final design on the rear is going to look like. From the spy pics, it looks like it will be "edgy" like the grille

Does nothing for me + or - ...grill does though, ugly and busy front end...TSX is sad and this is following...it just looks over cooked to me.....to replace my TSX it is now the Accord coupe ( I get better service on my wifes Accord at Honda than my TSX at Acura), G8 or hold for the Camero....SH will be $38-40m easy...

even though i still think the grille blows ass, i seem to be more-accepting of it on the new TL than any of the other models with it (RL, TSX).
totally agree with DRL/fog scheme...i'm not digging that.
and that front fender flare sucks.

Safety Car
Hole
What is up w/ the hole next to the fog lights ... looks like something is missing like an available option but it already had fogs & DRLs.

Overall, it's not bad. The details are not particularly surprising given the images we have already seen.
I would say that I, for one, am happy they got rid of the bi-xenons, since a traditional halogen bulb for the high beams allows the flash-to-pass option to be properly implemented. I am, however, not a fan of the MDX like fog-lamp-DRL combo.
And those wheels are definitely nice. I am hoping that the specs have not changed too much so I can snag a set of the new wheels for my TL-S when these start hitting the streets.
Need to see what the rest of the car looks like because making any calls.

I love it. Can't wait for the interior shots.

Damn that grille! So I guess it wasn't an accident that on the RL, the top of it doesn't line up with the top of the headlights. That makes it even worse, and makes it harder to fix it with an after-market grille. Although having to pay for an after-market grille just to make your near-$40k luxury car look decent is pretty stupid to begin with. The fog light/DRL combo doesn't bother me, but I agree that the fender flare is goofy. Damn shame, because I bet it's an awesome car in every other respect. Guess I'll keep my '04 TL a few more years and then jump ship.

Hmm. Looks a bit big overall, don't care for the curved line above the front wheel arch, but the black plastic part of the grille looks better than the TSX. The rear end is still bothering me, though.

WHere are the pics of the rear?
