Lets forget the length thing, we know it is somewhere between the TSX and the current TL, lets leave it at that untill we get better info.

Uh, my understanding is that the concept is "90% accurate" in terms of features and content and not size. In other words, if you made a list of the concept's features, ~ 90% of the items on that list will also be found on the production car.

As someone had mentioned earlier, there are some features (jet windshield wipers, side view cameras) that obviously won't make it to production.

Uh, dnb, if you would just kindly scroll, Iceman has already explained that. I was just talking about the size (yes, yes, but the 90% doesn't deal with it - I know, I know ) - nothing more, nothing less. And that's why I'm saying it was just a general comment, as larchment as shown, if you tried to do the math, it doesn't work out. Hence, the size of the concept car is probably beyond 90% in size, because the production version can only be 100% accurate.

Do you guys realize that this thread contains over 1/8 of the posts in the entire a-tsx forums? I know it's a hot topic, but this is a little ridiculous. Maybe we could un-sticky this thread now....

Most users ever online was 136 on 07-21-2003 at 05:15 PM.

Probably because of this, and Mr. Jumbo

Also, our rating has dropped to three stars vs 5 last week

Now that you mention it -- WTF is this "rating" thing anyway???

I know there's a thingee at the bottom of the thread where we can give a rating, but I'm pretty sure hardly anyone does it.

I guess people use it, otherwise we would not be rated.

Hey! Hey! Larch was just trying to point out that "90% accurate" != "90% smaller". And I have to agree with him. Chill out.

US is an SF, CA...I do not have any info for Canada.

Ride and Drive is when the Dealers get a hands on with the TLs and put it through its paces.

Sorry, I thought I heard that the North American debut was in Canada. Much like Canadian Dealers attended the Miami conference for the TSX debut. I assumed US dealers would be coming here.

Anyway, I read at TOV and I'm not sure if its been mentioned in the 1100+ posts in this thread (I'm not going to find out) that Canada will not be getting the HPT model. Instead we'll be getting a "Dynamic" TL. If we're lucky it may be similar to the TL-S A-Spec we were privilged to for the last year. Exclusive leather, Badging, Wheels etc...

I'm not sure how much sense High Performance Tire's would make up here since they could only be used 6 months of the year.

Thanks Justin, Question for you, does that mean that all of us that have depostis should be picking our options this week with our dealers (and colors) for the week of July 21st MOVE in order to get them in October????

I guess if we do not hear from them, we won't be geting them until November, correct?

The shift knob thing it not in the rice family.

I believe the M# is an example of a car with an illuminated shift knob. It just a small back light on the numbers. Not ricey IMHO at all.

I think the 90% is complete.

10% bigger or smaller, would probably change the class in which the car resides.

10% of approximately 190" is 19". That is substantial.

Based on the huge success of our first '04 TL News and Rumors thread:

http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...=&threadid=347

I am going to start "Part II" of our long journey of speculation and anticipation with Justin's 2nd famous Acura product time line (the TSX one from his was on the money).

Everyone feel free to summarize info as we know it from the other thread like colors and manufacturing combinations. I will leave it up to you guys to pull the appropriate tidbits in here.

So ... ding ding ding ... let's get it on with Round 2
