Of course!

My 03 TLS has navi, my 99 had it and my wife's 03 Accord has it. I was trying to reduce load times by not stating the obvious.

Same here. If it has the brakes and the suspension, I am definitely in, otherwise, I will keep the stock tires. No :flamer: please!

Edmunds is stupid. I remember they removed spy pictures of the then upcoming Toyota 4Runner that a member photographed, even though Toyota had already issued press photos.

Regarding Mr Jumbos post...that memo was an offcial Acura document for dealers only. It said on the bottom that we were not to disclose any of this information to the public. Mr Jumbo copied that memo and paste it on to this site and its now all over the place...the problem is Acura will not be very happy with that and if they wanted to can get some of us in trouble. Taking bits and pieces of info and disclosing it to you guys is one thing...but copying an offcial Acura document is something else. Mr Jumbo should NOT have done that.

Based on this info, I deleted my re-post to edmunds.com.

For what it's worth now....

Hopefully, you will not face any corrective action.

If anyone asks me, you have not shared anything.

I still do not know if the HPT option will have Brembo brakes and 19" wheels.

I do not know if the car will have ventilated seats.

I do not know if the remote transmitter will be integrated into the key or if the car will have an intelligent key system.

I do not know if the car will have bi-xenon headlights, with foglights integrated into the headlight cluster.

I do not know if the car will have auto up/down on all windows.

Need I say more?

You are safe with me!

Yep, not even the horsepower!

Or tire size, or any of the controls

Any interior stuff we know went out in press reports from Acura in April (XM, Bluetooth, DVD 5.1 Audio)

Sorry, I had no idea and there is no delete key.

I think for being the 1000th response, Justin should answer one of my questions in the post a few above 1000.

Sound fair?

AWD?

Okay so now that we know that AWD isn't available, the question is when will it be. Justin's guess seems to be a little over a year from now, but we don't have any reason to believe it would be offered sooner, like spring 2004, do we?

MrJumbo

MrJumbo has one post on this board, and in that one post he copied the internal acura memo. This has to be a purposeful leak. I don't think he would risk his job by directly copying an official Acura document, anyone should know better than that, especially with the embargo warning footnote. It's not like we really learned anything new from the letter, rather some of our suspicions were confirmed. Ah well just a thought.

If AWD is a definite no, but maybe yes for next year, I wonder if I am making a mistake purchasing this year.

What are the people that wanted AWD going to do, if you buy now and it comes out next year?

That would be the stupidest thing in the world for Acura to Release a ALL NEW Model and than revolutionize it again in 1 year..

For AWD I think it will be at least 2-3 Years

I don't know about you guys, but I'm dying to see the inside of the TL! I wonder if the triptronic sport shift will stay down on the floor? Heck, even the new Pontiac has steering wheel mounted buttons!!! Has anyone brought this up yet? Also, I hope it's got more audio controls on the wheel, an MP3 jack, designated cell phone space, and the cd-player can play MP3/CD-R disks. I imagine with blue tooth, some space should be designated for your phone. Right?

I agree! They need to recoup some of the development costs before they can make a new version of the car. Just look at the previous TL (as best as I can remember):

'99 All new body and engine
'00 New 5 speed tranny, side airbags?
'01 Carry over
'02 Type-S introduced, memory seats
'03 Carry over, new wheels

We already have one interior shot. don't confuse tiptronic with sportshift, this ain't no porsche. I bet you anything there won't be steering wheel shift buttons, and the SS remains in the gearbox. Probably just basic audio controls on the wheel, and voice recognization for the rest. Anyone know if dvd audio supports mp3 playback?
