Nice dedication.
First mod for this silver pappy: paint in black the front chrome strips.

Longer than the 3G but shorter than the 4G with about the same wheelbase the proportions would seem to hit a sweet spot. Unmistakably an Acura, I think this car will really stand out when we get to see it in person. Add to that, it's lighter than the 4G, 9(!) speed AT, direct injected 3.5l, SH-AWD and this thing should be a hoot to drive.
The top of the line TL was around $45-46k in the US, correct? And now word on the street is the priciest TXL will be at $50k.
What sort of additional features besides ACC are we getting for $50k, anyone know?

Here's another Pic i found on instagram. Unfortunately the picture quality isn't so great. I really don't care for this color though. Definitely love the silver and the Black one that was posted a couple of pages back.

I followed the link that someone posted today - Acura of Westchester had this great photo of the silver TLX:
I really like it! I am not sure if it's just the lighting but it does seem to have a bluish hue there. If it truly does have it then it's perfect. I guess it might right, since it's called slate silver or something like that? Let's hope so!

Yep, that one is on page 8 on here. I agree with you in certain lighting/angles it does have a bluish hue! I thought it was just me... or that they were playing tricks with lighting or something to make it look better... but then in some pictures it just looks regular silver like the one below.

I saw this earlier too, wish the poster would have gotten better/more pics. I just cannot pin point why this color is not flattering for the TLX. It looked so horrible during the NY production reveal imo.

Is Acura of Westchester saying they have a TLX to test drive in this tweet?

Three Wheelin'
ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)
LKAS (Lane Keep Assist)
LDW (Lane Departure Warning)
CMBS (Collision Mitigation Breaking System)
FCW (Forward Collision Warning)
Front/Rear Parking Sensors
Dynamic Rear Camera Guides
Here's another pick of my RLX cockpit at night, with LKAS and ACC in action.
If you look in the MID on the dashboard, you'll see the graphic icons for both a Car and lane indicators. The Car icon (along with the distance lines behind it) indicate that ACC is actively tracking a vehicle in front of you and the lines indicate the currently selected distance in which to maintain between you and the car. The side lane icons indicate that LKAS is actively tracking and locked on to the lane you are driving in and actively adjusts the steering wheel to keep you in the lane. LKAS is scary wicked cool. I've literally allowed the car to turn and re-correct going 80Mph on the interstate completely hands free.
While LKAS is not designed to be used in this manner, it along with ACC really makes for very comfortable road trips or other long distance driving.

The MID is showing 75mph. That is not your current speed according to the speedometer. Is that indicating set speed?

Nice, pic Holografique. IDK why, but the light on the road from the headlights grabbed my attention first. I've witnessed the Jewel Eyes before in on-coming traffic, but never behind the wheel of the car. They look really bright.

Lol, the MDX lights are bright as hell from on-coming traffic,... I'm assuming the TLX will be similar. I'm wondering the same thing for Holo.... are they noticeably bright from your end, also do you get people flashing their bright lights at you? I still get that with just HID's.

I wonder if there was a delay between the time the picture snapped and the time it took for the regular speedometer to climb to 75 mph.... since the digital one would have been instant but the needle would lag a little?...lol who knows. will be interesting to find out.

I'm still on the fence about the TLX and the color does not matter to me. I just paid my last payment on my 09 37K miles TL. Nary a scratch on it. Still rides and drives like the day I bought it. I'm really missing the chrome exposed tailpipes. If I do purchase a TLX it will be Basque Red Pearl II. It will not leave the dealer lot without the beak painted. Im waiting to see what type of body kit will be available. Can't have my car looking like everyone else. Hopefully there will be some nice optional wheels.

^^ OK, now you have got me excited!! Wonder why!?
Keith7120....The size of the TLX does look small...I remember when we saw pics of the 2013 RDX with the swirly patterns, there was a photo of a guy leaning on the rear of the vehicle and we all thought the RDX was very short, turns out it wasn't the case. Either these guys are giant or something weird is going on. I agree with you though...the smaller the better (for me anyway)

I love the interior of the RLX, just a real grown man car for real.
