I wouldn't compare the 4G with the 2G Solara... To me the back tail lights of the TL look like the `99-`03 Solara. I should know I owned a 2000 Solara before my `04 TL.

That was my first impression of seeing the back of the 4G with light camo.

I totally agree. The new 4G TL back tail lights look at a lot like the Solara. I can say once I am done with my 08 Type-S in about three years, the TL will not be an option for me if it still looks like the way it's shaping to be. I will go up to the RL before I look at a 4G TL.

All I can say it's very disappointing. From what I have seen, Acura has let the ball drop a little going from the 3G TL to the 4G TL.

Guys, Its looking better and better each time I see it, that camo really does a good job of distorting the apeal of the design. wait till it gets released and the first person drops it, rims it up with 20" all around. Its going to be so strong looking.

If the area was a bad part of the city with mostly asians and hispanics, it would still be considered urban by the media. Seems like another way to pull the race card ...but thats a whole different issue

The new TL is going to be sick. I am so excited to see the entire car with camo removed. It will make the 3rd gen TL look very, very outdated. This car will definately set a new benchmark for other car manufactuers to follow just like the 3rd gen TL during its prime. I know Im gonna get this car but when its 2-3 yrs old. Patience is virtue btw you will get a better deal anyhow

The back looks too much like the Solara, ie feminine. The back is still a photo shop. I think some of the tape in the picture obscures the overall symmetry. I'll reserve judgment when the camo finally comes off.

I think the tailsare going to look different, they resemble the 8th gen accord too much.

I love my 3g, but I think this will be a contender! from the spy shots i See how it could look like this and look like that, but I think this will be a winner.

It looks kind of g35'ish, with the curves... i don't know. It looks like manufacturers are going for a more aggressive curvy design versus the clean lines of the 3g... shit i don't know???

Looks very nice! , muscular and aggressive yet upscale. No offense to 3 gen TL owners but it will definitely make the current TL look outdated and bland. To me the tailights looks more Lexus-like (LS/ES) than any other thing.

as far as the led mirror turn signals, i think both base models and SH-awd version will come with it since it's pretty much a standard with acura now, all there models have it whether it's base or tech. it's more in the line of safety and you know how HONDA is about safety and fuel economy.

yea i saw all the other spy pics too. i just don't think the lines flow very well. despite that, i don't think they could do any worse then when bmw came out with new 7-series trunks a few years back. THAT was fugly. lol

Not sure if everyone has seen this already - Pretty good photochop of what the front of the 4G TL might look like. I think the car is growing on me. Will still need to see it side by side with the G37 sedan, once both are released.

The rear end of the 09 TL in these listed photochopped pics look similar to the New 09 Nissan Maxima which is currently on sale right now. I forgot how to post pics but look at the 09 Maxima....seems like the 09 TL followed the same path atleast from the front mid-section back to the rear.
