I noticed that as well. To me, they'd have to be taped off. Doesn't the current base TL have them, as well as the TL-S? Thats definately a feature that I like.

C'mon man. It's a box with 4-wheels, an engine, lights and windows. It has to be moderatly aerodynamic, room for 4 or 5 and weigh 3,500 - 4,000 pounds.
Start optimizing those and EVERYBODY ends up in pretty much the same place.
IOW - there is NO totally unique design. Just a few styling cues to call your own - like a hang tooth grille and a 5-pointed rear spoiler. :lol:

I think they're a pretty tacky addition IMO.They're on the TSX 'cause it's the Euro Accord and they are gov't mandated in Europe as a safety featue.
I am *almost* positvie that there is similar gov't mandate here that will soon be in effect - just like seat belts and ABS - *everybody* will have them.
It's dumb to think they put 'em on the TSX, the '07/'08 TL AND TL-S and they are taking them off of *one* '09 trim level.
Can you say ..... "camouflage"? Come on, say it with me: "camo ..... flage". If you're having trouble just say, "camo", and we'll know what you mean.

Yea I too think the side mirror turn signals are just ok looking..but the fact that they are a extra safety feature is nice. I do notice when I'm coming up beside a car it is easier to see where they are going if they have them or the side marker turn signals on their fenders...of course this is only 20% of the time because people around here don't use turn signals.

At this moment I don't see anything that will make me regret buying my 3G TL earlier this month, but then this new car will probably grow on me like the new MDX has. Fortunately i might be ready to add another car to the garage by then.

The new TL will look like something. What else can they do? I just hope its pretty quick and good looking. By the photoshop picture it looks pretty good. I am just wondering why they don't offer a manual with SH-AWD. And a coupe would be awesome. I only need comfort for 2.
