^^^ as far as im aware, there is only 2 finishes available for these wheels: Sparkle Silver and Chrome... No such thing as Satin Silver.

I think the groupbuy may have misstyped their info.

Outstanding! I like that price. Did they simply replace the mid-muffler and replace it with pipe? Is it a deep sound?

Sorry to keep hijacking the thread!!! They replaced the mid muffler with a straight pipe. Also called Stage 1 exhaust. You've got quite a few options, stages 1-4. Everything you need to know about this mod can be found here:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/removing-resonator-stock-exhaust-summary-post-1-1811-a-589747/

As for sound, stage 1 is a very subtle increase in sound. barely noticeable IMO. By no means is there any deep drones/rasps/growls etc.... Plus its a very cheap mod so why not? i had both tips and stage 1 done for $50.

isn't MDX 5x120 not 5x114.3?

It is pretty crazy - $550 for the wheels, but $800+ for a decent set of all-season tires to go with them.

Chapu08 - what tires are you planning to use? I'm thinking about the Continental DSWs since they have excellent reviews.

Progress RSB was by far the BEST performance mod that I've done (~$150). The difference in handling is night and day.

Stage 1 is probably the cheapest mod i've done ($20), but i also had my quad tips welded on as well so total cost $50. Very subtle increase in sound, but no drones/growls/rasps etc... Sounds a little softer then a stock G35 exhaust. No performance gains, but for the price, why not??

I paid in the ballpark of $850 for the Eagle GT's... definitely not cheap but not nearly as expensive as some of the other tires I've seen on the market.

But overall, im very happy with the tires themselves. So happy that this is actually my 2nd set. I have them on my stockers as well. Great dry/wet traction, pretty quiet. great treadware ratings, good hydroplaning resistance. Don't have much snow in Dallas so i can't speak on that.

I've heard good things about General UHP's if you want a lower price.

No idea man. I do have time, so I will start saving some $$, do some research on the ones available in 235/35/19, and will see. I will love to have some nice tires but w/o spending 1K+!!That's a difficult combination

Just saw this thread in the new posts page and remembered I never posted pictures with the 15mm Ichiba spacers in the back.

So, here they are.

Thanks!

I only rub with a rear passenger or a heavy load in the trunk, and it's minor at that. It did require rolling the fenders and shaving off a part of the rear bumper and bumper tabs. Before I shaved the rear bumper and tabs it would rub hardcore.

I'm going to jack my own thread for a minute. I need the space so I need to sell my stock 04 wheels. The tires on them are PNero Zero but they hardly have any tred left. Anyone know what a good price to craigslist these for? I'd consider them average condition. 2 are curbed but 2 are clean.

As a side note, it's awesome so many of you jumped on this deal. Last night leaving a 4th of July show I had a guy say "damn that's money yo" as I drove by. Hilarious

Are you really sure you want to get rid of them? I would think this trough some more man.. Especially up north where you are, i would definitely keep them as your dedicated winter setup. 19's in new england during the winter is just asking for trouble man! You may regret selling them!

But if your sure, I've seen fair condition stockers go anywhere from $250-$400. w/o tires that is...

.
Well I'd need to buy new tires for them anyway if i kept them. The Pirellis are summer tires and were horrible in the snow with good tred, nevermind now. Plus I'm picking up a wrangler that I'll drive around when its crappy out. I'm moving and don't feel like paying to store them somewhere. Plus the Proxes actually are supposed to be decent in bad weather. I def hear your point though

Just put mine on last night and I'm in love with my TL again. I went with the Silver Sparkle on an 06 Anthracite just like ollie.

I have the A-Spec suspension sitting in my trunk and hope to get it installed over the weekend to complete the look.

Nice! I'm glad more and more are jumping on this deal. I don't believe we've seen one with full aspec suspension yet. Most folks that have gotten these wheels have either stock or aftermarket suspension.

Make sure you take some before an after shots. Very curious to see how it'll look with full aspec!

Also, what tires did you end up going with?

I will definitely take before and after pics. Suprisingly, and IMO, it actually doesn't look like it needs a drop so I think the small difference the A-Spec kit offers should be just right. I'm mainly looking for a little tighter suspension.

For the tires I actually decided to go with Nitto NT555's. I tried to order the Continentals and they were on national backorder so I started researching other options. Everything I was looking at was going to cost me $900+, but I found a shop that offered me $780 for the Nittos out the door so I couldn't pass it up.

yeah, you arent the first to run into issues sourcing the conti dws's... Been hearing that a lot lately. I guess they are in very high demand! But i'm glad things worked out for you with the nittos.

As for the drop, i agree, not much is needed. especially if your not going for the "slammed" look. I went with the Nuespeed supercup kit with koni's. The great thing about them is they are adjustable in 1/4 inch increments. Mine drop is very subtle but i've managed to eliminate that wheel gap!

2QAYL - I'm not sure what the Ebay price is going for right now, but there is a Groupbuy thread for these wheels priced at $550 shipped to your door.

Kaleb said he was able to get an extension from the dealership and he can sell them at that price until the 15th.

This is where I got mine from and everything went perfectly.

^ I got my set for $480.00 + shipping to PR from Acura of Peoria, Arizona. Great price and service, take a look. They charge an $80.00 standard flat rate for shipping to the states.

They will match. I walked into my local dealership in April with a ebay printout and he matched the cost+shipping+tax. The invoice says $550 per wheel which I found pretty funny. It came to about $550 for the set. My Toyos were $900 balanced and aligned, but they have been great.

Well both of you got really lucky with your dealerships. The three dealerships within 2 hour driving distance both about laughed at me when I asked them to match the price.
