Alright I just bought a set off ebay from Acura of Peoria

Chrome look, $560 shipped

Has anyone confirmed if 245 40 19 will fit?

I found a great deal at Tire Rack for Goodyears for $125 ea. and a mail in rebate for $40 with a purchase of 4.

Please fit!

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Not sure if they'll fit.. I remember someone posted a picture of tires in that size, and the sidewall looked kinda tall... But they may fit. The 245/45-18 I test fitted rubbed on the fronts, but only because it was on a wheel with a more aggressive offset...

But dude... Why did you get Eagle RS-A ? Those are the crappiest tire I've ever run in my life.... They howl like a banshee when you take a curve even modestly fast, and they suck donkey ballz in the rain.... They are called Eagle cRap-SA tires for a reason....

Eh lol, I was going by the customer reviews. I figured any Goodyear would be better than any Sumitomo for the price. I guess not lol.

Your right, I found a pic of a 245 40 19 on the wheel fitment thread and it looks ridiculous! 35 it is!

If you look on page 4 of this thread, it looks like one of the members bought these wheels for his car with brembos. He said he bought the Ichiba v2 15mm spacers.

^I have 10mm on the car right now with wilwood calipers. Looks like these wheels arent going to fit unless I get 15mm. Then Im in a whole other set of problems. Well, not really problems but Ill have to raise the car a little and get another alignment.

I'm running 245/35-19 with these RDX rims and I have Brembos, so I had to get the 15mm spacers...just barely fits. Love the look though!!!!

I was the one who purchased these wheels for my 06 MT, yes you need 15mm to clear, Ichiba V2's install in about 15 minutes, piece of cake. I really didn't want 19's but the deal was too good to pass up. The dealer said they would fit and I didn't want to have to use spacers, so I returned them. a 245-40-19 will rub, you need a 35 series tire.

I'm going to Ron Jon's on Friday, looking at the raven black machined 18" Legends for my ASM

As far as im aware, there is no difference between Type S 5AT vs. Non-Type S 5AT. 5AT brakes should be universal.

There is a difference is between 5AT vs. 6MT as the 6MT uses the brembo calipers.

and these wheels WILL CLEAR 6MT, you just have to purchase 15mm spacer.

Type-s and 6mt use the same brakes, will not fit without 15mm spacers. installed my spacers on the rear just to kick out the back a bit, make it look more rear wheel drive and they thump a bit, hub-centric yes, would I use them on the front ? no !

I bought the Generals and spent $762 but it came with $175 worth of rebates and I also had them match an online price. My suggestion is to look locally at your tire shops and see what kind of deals they are offering...

You guys would be surprised on where to get deals. I checked everywhere today for some Goodyear Eagle GT's and everywhere I looked wanted $180+ per tire. Tirerack was decent at $165 each but the shipping and the tax kills it. So I know my guys at my local Acura dealer very well and I talked them into getting me a set for cost, $600 for all four! Don't underestimate dealers!

Lol Thank you very much! I might have been rolling on some noisy bricks! These ended up being even cheaper than the RS-A's, well including the tax and shipping that is.

A little tip I've learned from being in the car business (I'm a dispatcher for a car hauling transport company) is never tell the truth! Lol so what if it's frowned upon sometimes, but every man for themselves! I told Acura that I found those tires online for $130 each but I would rather do business with them because we have a good working relationship together. It worked, in fact it worked out to be $500 cheaper than the cheapest local tire store! Win!

So to everyone who has the RDX's mounted already (mine are still in the mail) do you want, or wish or already have spacers on them to make them more flush? That's the only gripe I foresee having when I mount these up. The little things annoy the shit out me lol.

Also, any rubbing problems on lowered cars at all? I'm probably going to want to lower it a little bit with the new rims to avoid having an Acura monster truck.

I'm thinking a very very modest drop like the Eibach Pro-Kit. Any thoughts?

They fit good. I have 5mm spacers on the rear just to make them about even with the front.

No rubbing at all, Im dropped on H&R sports. 235/35/19 AND 245/35/19 is VERY close to the overall diameter of our stock 17's.

Let me know if you find any...im in the same boat as you...I was hoping since its memorial wkd we would find some crazy sales...I found a set of nexen 3000 for 575 shipped on ebay...but you would still need to have em balanced and mounted so thats an added expense when ordering online vs dealing with local tire shop and having them mount and balance for less.
