^ um u serious??

the widest you can run is a 225/40/18 if thats the rims sizes u wana run

265 is way too wide for an aggressive offset like that

hi new to the forum and need some help

Questions on Wheels/tires

Wheel Make/Model: tsw nardo
Wheel Size : 19x8 front, 19x9.5 rear
Wheel Offset (+40)
If lowered (amount): planning on a 1" drop

Questions on Tires
Width/Sidewall-Diameter : 235/35/19 front, 265/30/19 rear

Will these fit/rub with a 1" drop and will there be too much wheel gap without the drop

thanks in advance!

those will fit just fine... no need to roll fenders or anything

i personally like the look of 19's with a drop too me it looks a lil awkward if you get larger rims and dont lower the car some what.... but its all personal opinion and you might not mind the look.

I just purchased a used 2007 TL base w/o navi and the dang thing didnt come with a spare (yeah my fault for not looking, caveat emptor)

My question is will the compact spare from a 2003 TL work with my 2007 TL? The dimensions are 135/80/r16 (on the 2003), I cant seem to find any 07 TL's spare donuts for sale.

Normally I wouldnt care, but I live in an area with lots of construction and I know I will get a flat sooner or later.

Thank you all for the help!

Questions on Wheels
Wheel Make/Model: Konig Lace
Wheel Size: F 19x8 R 19x9.5
Wheel Offset F +35 R +25
If lowered (amount): 1.5 in

Do you think the rear will fit? I have my rears shaved right now. What size tires should I use for the F&R, I was thinking 225-35-19 and 235/245-35-19

^ thats the size tires I would run with those widths and offsets.... as long as you have already trimmed/rolled the rears they should be fine.

Do you think 245-35-19 would be ok? Or should i just do the 235-35-19 for the rear.

^ stick with the 235 especially with a +25 offset in the rear you will need it... if you went 245 you would rub no matter how much you cut/rolled the rears

Sounds crazy, but would the OEM 07-08 wheels fit my 04 MT TL?
I know the TL-S does and the 04-06 does as well.
But i'm unsure about the 07-08.
Thinking about trading my TL-s for someone's 07-08 plus cash tomorrow morning
Thanks

Edit: According to my research, The answer is YES
Thanks again. Dont flame me or it's on LoL

Question on tires -

Wheel Make/Model: RonJon Legend
Wheel Size: 19x8 all around
Wheel Offset: +32 I believe
If lowered (amount): none

I have Falken fk452s all around in 245/35/19. Had them for about 2 years. Was wondering if it is possible for my next tired to be 245/40/19 - I have bent rims from potholes because of such a thin tire and I would like the ride to be a little better. Would this be a big problem?

Thanks!

I personally wouldn't run that size of a tire a 245/35 should be plenty on a 19" rim for protection... Your speedo would be off and it would just look silly

im running a 215/35/19 up front and a 235/35/19 out back no bent rims here

07 Type S Auto

Wheel Make/Model: Enkei RPF1
Wheel Size (**X**): 18x9.5 / 18x10.5
Wheel Offset (+**): +15 / +15
If lowered (amount): HT Spec 2, ingalls rear, looking to slam as much as possible without rubbing
Tires: 225/35/18 ; 235/35/18

Will these fit and/or will they rub with a full car? I am willing to roll/cut fenders and max out camber.

my question is tire size for the rear to avoid rubbing (fenders aren't rolled). is 265/30 the right size?

thanks for the help!

well anything is possible if you want to put the time and effort into making it work.... in order to make that work if you are lowered you would need front and back camber kits to add more camber you would need to run a 215/40 front and a 235/40 rear meaning lots of stretch and you would need to roll fenders and pull a tad like i said its doable at the extreme in just make sure you are willing to do it right

i would run a 235/35/19F and a 265/30/19R and you should be fine without rolling fenders

HMMMM that's guna be some work right there... the tires really need to be a 30 series too for a TL.,... I think you are guna have major issues with the rear wheel being a 10.5" +20 you would have to run like -4 camber and go with the 245/30 rear tire roll and pull fenders.... like said before just up to how much work you wana put into making them fit

that was my old tsw's they were 19"x8" +40 but I had a 15mm spacer so made them +25 running a 215/35/19 tire.

I would probably run a 235/30/20 tire maybe even a 245/30/20 tire i dont think you will have too much of an issue with rubbing maybe email ronjon see what they bhave seen other acura ride on with that size rim they offer...

the correct bolt pattern is 5x114.3. if you're specifying a dual bolt pattern wheel, then what u have listed is the wheel u want.

i know a lot of guys have XXR wheels (not sure about those specifically)...wouldn't doubt if there are pics of those in both 18's & 19's. if you're debating at all then its better to be safe and get the 19's. i would say its more likely that u get 18's and wish u got 19's then the opposite. whatever you do...make sure you drop it!

good luck!

Well... I just went to the auto place because I've been leaking air. Crack in my 1.5 year old Ronjon legend

Would a 245/40/19 rub in front? And would it look that bad? How about a 235/40/19? I really cant keep spending money on bent wheels

^ im not sure how you are bending wheels because a 235/35/19 should be pleanty of sidewall.... i have hit some serious shiat and havent bent my front rim ... i would say a 235/40 would look odd and would rub if lowered more than 1" you can always try it but it really would look wierd imo and your speedo would be off like 5%

^ man that would be a knarly stretch! yea i said knarly lol... im sure you would most likely still want to roll the rears and trim the tabs up front depending on how low you go with that set up... it would look pretty mean and aggressive if done right with a nice drop ... i still like the ideas of a 225/40/18 tire thought ... i think it would function better and be safer and with just some work you can make it happen... i can even help if you ive in L.A. as in Los Angeles? I live right after the valley

Question on Brembo/Big Brake Clearance
Wheel Make/Model: AME FINs
Wheel Size: 18x8
Wheel Offset: +43

Shouldn't have a problem fitting over the brembo's considering stock wheels are 8 +45? or does the style of the rims affect clearance?

Question on Brembo/Big Brake Clearance
Transmission (Manual with Brembo's)
Year/Trim ('06 Base):

Hi Guys,
I'm a new member...just picked up an '06 6MT. I've read a bunch of threads on these particular wheels. It seems that the most popular fitment is the 18x8.5 +37. I saw a few threads where people recommended 235 width tires, but said they rubbed with 245's when lowered. I have not been able to find any threads with people running the +47 fitment.

My goal is NOT an aggressive fitment. I want something that is relatively mild and conservative. I will most likely not even lower my car at all. If I do, it would only be minimal. I'm looking for the fitment that will be as close to stock as possible. I also don't plan on running particularly aggressive alignment settings...please assume stock.

According to my math, the +37 offset will give me 2mm more inner clearance, and bring the wheel face out 14mm towards the fender. From everything I've read, these will clear the Brembo's. My primary concern is rubbing, etc. I'm assuming that this won't be an issue at stock, or near stock height with a 235 width tire, but I just wanted to get more opinions.

The +47 would lose 8mm inboard clearance, and bring the wheel out 4mm towards the fender. My concern here is that inboard clearance. I have no idea how much space there is to work with. Will the wheels interfere with the Brembo's or rub the inner fender liner at full lock, etc.?

Can someone please recommend which offset would be better for my situation? Thank you very much for any assistance.
