yea i forget the offsets they offer but you can make a 9" front and 10" rear work with the right offsets one of the guys in our club has a set of these on his g37 sedan in a gunmetal they look hawt!

Shouldn't have a problem fitting over the brembo's considering stock wheels are 8 +45? or does the style of the rims affect clearance?
style of the rim does matter a lot actually. you can always get them and run spacers if needed to clear the brembos

Question on Brembo/Big Brake Clearance
Transmission (Manual with Brembo's)
Year/Trim ('06 Base):

Hi Guys,
I'm a new member...just picked up an '06 6MT. I've read a bunch of threads on these particular wheels. It seems that the most popular fitment is the 18x8.5 +37. I saw a few threads where people recommended 235 width tires, but said they rubbed with 245's when lowered. I have not been able to find any threads with people running the +47 fitment.

My goal is NOT an aggressive fitment. I want something that is relatively mild and conservative. I will most likely not even lower my car at all. If I do, it would only be minimal. I'm looking for the fitment that will be as close to stock as possible. I also don't plan on running particularly aggressive alignment settings...please assume stock.

According to my math, the +37 offset will give me 2mm more inner clearance, and bring the wheel face out 14mm towards the fender. From everything I've read, these will clear the Brembo's. My primary concern is rubbing, etc. I'm assuming that this won't be an issue at stock, or near stock height with a 235 width tire, but I just wanted to get more opinions.

The +47 would lose 8mm inboard clearance, and bring the wheel out 4mm towards the fender. My concern here is that inboard clearance. I have no idea how much space there is to work with. Will the wheels interfere with the Brembo's or rub the inner fender liner at full lock, etc.?

Can someone please recommend which offset would be better for my situation? Thank you very much for any assistance.

go with the +37 offsets and a 235/40/18 tire it will look and fit just fine

08 Pmm auto

Wheel Make/Model: axis pentagon
Wheel Size: 19x9.5 all around
Wheel Offset: +40
drop: planning on 1-1.5"

tire: 245/35/19

Will this setup work/not rub without a camber kit? im ok with the natural camber of the drop but dont want to add a camber kit

^^They should fit fine with that type of a drop.... any lower the fronts most likely will rub....

you dont want to go staggered? like a 8" front and 9.5" rear?

i was thinking of staggering but it doesnt make much sense on a fwd car and its a hassle rotating the tires. Decided on 9.5's instead of 8.5's because its more aggressive

What's the widest and highest offset (further in) has anyone gone on a 3G TL.

Example has anyone done 18/19/20 X 10 all around with like a +50 offset or close to that. I'm interesting in going wide on my TL but not have it poke but I'm concerned about fitment behind the wheel and it possibly touching the suspension. I'm somewhat of an expert on SC offsets and have done 18x12+54 on my stock body SC. Just curious about the 3G TL fitment.

I would think that set up would work just fine... I dont think you will have to do too much of fender mods or camber... you just need to run 30 series tires

haha well if they had there spec sheet up id help you out a bit more but its not showing the offsets available... they are nice lookn rims though!

widest I would say you can go on a TL would be 10" front and maybe 11" rear depending on offsets... Id say you would need a +35 offset front and +45 offset rear... also depends if you have the brembos up front...

a +40 won't be flush ... I would go with a +25-+30 range to be flush... with a +40 i dont think you will clear the BBK's either

Thanks for your response. My TL doesn't have Brembos and I have no plans on getting them. So I can realistically run 19x10 or 18x10 all around with +45 offset to be on the safe side?

Schooling Required...

Hey first post here... (ill try to make it as painless as possible)
Wheel Make/Model: XXR/518
Wheel Size: 19x8.5
Wheel Offset: not sure
lowered: not sure

So im looking to put these on a 2003 3.2 TL type-S (automatic).
I am not even going to pretend to know the first thing about modding, I do understand that lowering the car will prob be needed as a huge gap does not look good.

Im looking for all the knowledge and insight I can get; which offset would be best, which tires (size, width, etc), lowering (how should i lowwer -i.e. which product or products should I use- and how much should I drop), if rolling would be needed (if yes both front and back?)

I am looking for an aggressive stance yet not too much as to not look ridiculous. I would want performance to be kept in mind over aesthetics.
I hope Im making sense, it sucks being a newbie, I do learn quick though.
Thank you all for your insight and knowledge in advance, as well as being patient with me as I have lots to learn.

you are fine with those rims and offsets i would run a 245/40/18..... a 45 sidewall will be too tall and awkward looking and throw off the speedo

Questions on Wheels

Wheel Make/Model:
Wheel Size (**X**): 18" x 10"
Wheel Offset (+**): +50
If lowered (amount): 1-1.5" in the future

I'm worried most about inner strut clearance. Will I have to run wheel spacers in order to make the wheels work?

only up to 5mm would be fine anything over you would need extended lugs or spacers with built in lugs

Hello wheel fitment guys, Been thinking of getting a set of advan model T7 but ravspec has a few sets that are 19x9 one is 25 offset and the other less aggressive is 45 will any fender rolling require to make these fit. I am one a moderate drop with comptech and tokicos!!

i would run the +25 offset it will look good not too aggressive but it will look correctly fitted... i would run 235/35/19 all around the front you may have to cut the tabs off the inner fender ... if you are slammed then you might want to go with a 225/35 up front

you should be just fine with this set up and a 235/40 tire

i would probably stick with a 235 the rear can fit a 245 easily but front will most likely rub with a drop... yes u need to get a hubcentric ring that makes up the hub bore size what ever enkei is to the 64.1mm that the TL has...

are you going to run the 9.5"s all around??

do you have the brembo brakes up front? if not i think they would fit as is all around with a 245 width tire

where the front inner metal fender meets the bumper the metal kinda sticks out around 1/2" and this will cut the crap outta your tires if you are aggressive and or wide... easy to trim/grind it off with a 4.5" angle grinder
