There are lot of threads and recommendations here on the forum. My replacement battery has always been a DieHard from Sears. Here is one of those threads to look at - https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...unning-896519/

I would also suggest the Acura/Honda 100-Month battery; the following link is to a post I made on the subject about a month ago:

Lightweight Deka battery FTW!

Deka ETX18L Power Sports AGM Battery

Not for everyone though. Only about 2/3rd's the CCA of a stock battery and obviously a lot less reserve power. You have to be much more mindful of accessory use when the car is off. However, it's a good 20lbs. lighter than stock.

The general rule of thumb is to pick the battery with the largest # of Cold Cranking Amps and Reserve Capacity that will fit in the battery compartment.

The yellow Everstart Maxx from Walmart is the highest rated battery in our group, 24F in Consumer Reports. The one I have. Works fine!

I haven't had awesome results with the Acura battery...always had to get it replaced well within the warranty period. I went with a highly rated AGM battery at Advanced Auto. Oddly, that needed to be replaced in about a year BUT I had the receipt and it had a 1 year free replacement warranty so I was out the door within 10 minutes with a new battery that they installed. No hassle at all. Warranty continues with this new one from date of the original purchase of the 1st battery. (premature failure could have been due in part to a failing starter which had to be replaced the week after the new battery)....now it's start quickly and sounds like new. Side note: The dealer told me that when they replaced my Acura battery under warranty, the replacement had no warranty even though it normally would. That's part of what sent me to find a non-Acura option. I'm just happy Advanced Auto replaced the battery quickly and with no hassle.

DieHard Gold has been rock solid for me. 3 year replacement warranty, then 100-month pro rated. Hard to beat that.

First one lasted 6 years, 8 months. Second one has been going strong for 3 years, 4 months so far. Got each for ~$95 OTD on sale.

When I bought my '07 TL in late-February 2017, the OEM battery was still working, but only lasted for another month before giving me problems (after sitting in an airport parking lot for 5 days).

Ended up replacing with: Interstate Mega-Tron Plus (MTP)-24F for $130.00. A little more powerful CCA = 800a, RC = 125 minutes, 30-month free-replacement and 6-year performance warranty.

Very nice 800cca. Someone above said Wal Mart had the "highest CCA" batt at 700cca, looks like I'll need to checkout this one for my next batt need. I'm all about them high CCAs!
