I know they are 5 by 114.3, and i think the hub is slightly smaller. idk i can't remember.

but 18x 8 50 offset.

are stocks 17x8 or 8.5? +45 correct? I see some say 8.5 some say 8 online and I can't figure out if they will work at all

Hmmmm...do you drive much?
I'd HONESTLY hold out to replace your oem wheel with another one, brother.
Where is that thread on all the oem wheels that were going for a really good price?!? Anyone remember it, it surfaced last month. It was a ridiculous price for a replacment wheel. (low).

If one of you guys could find it that would be awesome. I got nothing searching 'cheap wheels'

ebay is all over the board. either 59 or 400. wtf....

I literally have ZERO idea how anyone finds what they want on EBAY

THANK YOU guys. You're the best!!!!

I'm going to order a replica wheel I think. I know sharky would like to keep it local, and no one wants to sell me just one wheel, a set is always worth more from a buyers perspective.

I have tire replacement so the rubber isn't an issue, just $20

That's probably the best bet, brother...replica for 150 and another 40 for the tire, mounted and balanced and you're back on the road.

Compared to a Prius, yes it is

The TL is quick but coming from a turbo Audi, I'm sure it wasn't easy.

^^^ ohh you bet....

i drove my uncles A6 4.2 quattro (2006 or 2007 model) with the S-Line package....and fell in love INSTANTLY.....imagine throwing a turbo in that thing.....

but in all honesty the turbo TL is an insanely fast car as well.....instead of selling the car and then buying another car and modding that and making monthly payments.....why not just throw a turbo in the TL ???

other cars (cough Audi cough) lead to tons of problems in the later stages....Acura has been very very kind to me even after 7 years and 160K miles.....

Anil I like the TL, I do. However, the platform setup is just not my style.

I need to downsize and go RWD. So the list includes
rotary swapped miata's
FC rx-7's
E30's (but those have their own issues) to swap in an old m5 I6 into
MAYBE a 240 if I could find a decent chassis, but those are so torn up after all these years

etc. budget, but worth it $$:performance wise.

Those are all great project cars. IMO, you still need a solid reliable daily driver (eg. TL) that you can drive while your project car is being worked on.

buddy that is an awesome list....i would love to own any of the cars you mentioned....

but i do agree with some of the replies about that you would need a solid DD car while the project car is being worked on....i know couple folks on the forums have a Civic or an Accord as their DD car while the TL is being worked on.....

all in all, if you have decided cant really convince you to stay....but do lurk around fool....and if you see a car around KC and want me to check it out before you make the trip, just holla
