TBH, I thought the theory of Amp'd emblems was kinda ricey. Illuminated emblems?

But they're subtle enough that I think they're an awesome detail. And of course your car pulls it off exceptionally well

Are you fogs projector?

I wasn't on last night, so....

1. I've got the Amp'd Emblems too and really love them. They don't look ricey at all. I have the red one on the back to match the tails. I've got the white one on the front to match the cleared headlights. They give a very classy look.

2. I love the RonJon nose and side skirts. I'm with Anil-not a fan of the tail though. I would have gotten it a long time ago if it wasn't for the foglights. You can put them in the nose, but I know it's a lot of work.

3. I'm really anxious to try the Wolfgang's stuff. Both the Wolfgang's and the Tuf Shine Permenant Tire Black should arrive next week-both were shipped yesterday.

4. Supercharger Jeremy......Supercharger. It' "the final frontier" !!!!

Hmmm...well, to be honest, I have 2 experiences in life that make me KNOW that I'll have to at some point have both a turbo'd car AND a throaty V8. My buddy had a 240Z boosting 26 pounds when I was HS, that's the first car I went sideways in. I was in love with turbo ever since. I grew up around 5.0's too...and after this newest iteration of it, I can see myself getting something like that to have some fun. We'll see...gotta be patient and wait.

I think I'll just end up loving the TL for what it is...good grocery getter with decent power and decent gas mileage and excellent reliability. Notice the majority of people that end up charging the TL end up parting out and selling the car for something with much more power within a year.

Good point J. I would love to either have a boosted S2k or a 2011+ 5.0 in the garage later in life.

^Exactly, but not for a TL
I agree with the last post of J.
You will want more if you take a step that has the word "power" in it
And it will be a big step with that SC
This car is not even rwd
SC will be the last step for TL right as in power right?
I would start thinking about why I paid that much money to a road that has dead end at 330hp or whatever it gives
Get an old Mustang J.

For Anil it's different, look at his car haha track car
Y u no get SC huh?

...uh oh...wait till Anil sees that.

Yeah, I've considered a fox body...just need a bigger garage and a yard to house it. Can't have my poor daily sitting out in the rain and sun!

haha....that rat bastid !!!

Meko....no FI for me since I have the weight advantage...you need FI to keep up with me

but in all seriousness, I will try to be around the 325-330whp range in a NA TL and that will be it for me....and around the 2800-2900 lb weight range....so somewhere around 8.5 lb's per HP....not bad....and the TL when gutted right, has a very nice weight distribution, you can be around the lines of 55% upfront and 45% in the rear....lets hope i can get there by end of next year

Someone ban Anil please
Block him from coming here

Get a ground level garage.. inside the garage
naah then you can't watch the car, you'll miss her

Oh shit I am slow
What are you talking about, I already have turbo
You hoping to loose some weight right
So front drops to 50%

haha yup....the weight distribution is ridiculous right now LOL....its like 65% up front and 35% in the back....worse than what comes from the factory LOL (62% up front and 38% in the back).....I like where the rear is at, I would like to install the harness bar and an X bar in the back which will add some weight to the rear....

front, I have still to loose couple hundred pounds....trying to find out how LOL....

PS: ALL THE NUMBERS/PERCENTAGES ARE MY CALCULATIONS FROM MY EXCEL....DO NOT QUOTE ME ON IT....

^^^ well think about it....am running a 11lb battery and 7lb jumper....18lbs total.

Stock battery and battery holder were like 45lbs....so I lost 27lbs....you want me to add another 5-8lbs of wire running through the car by relocating the battery to the trunk?

I think the battery is doing well in the engine bay, if I end up getting the intake mod then yes, I will have to find a place to relocate the battery....

EDIT: @ Jeremy....

Its ok, the log mani isn't on the CL yet. I want to bring the CL up to Pauls Monday to finally get the damn manifold installed and take care of a few other little issues. So the CL thread may finally see an update.

That was testing in his Pilot, since it uses a cable actuated throttle body, just like the CL.
