is that what he told you?he told me he doesnt have $65 to pay for the rolls and ties...even thow he promised he would buy the rolls....i should have known better and not gotten my $$$ stuck....
so when he said he doesnt have the monies, i told me to give me a DomedDecal (even thow I had no interest in that item) and $25...tried to make it better for him and he agreed to that, but still nothing....
either way, guess no more making deals with people like him (sorry it sounds bitter but when you have your money stuck, you tend to learn)....again am not blaming him, its my fault....
btw what wrap did ya use? is it the titanium one or did you just go with the regular one....meant to ask you this before....none the less, great wrap job....its not even funny how tough it can be to wrap when 2 pipes are so close to each other
Yes sir, ended up buying off of Amazon, the titanium stuff that doesn't need to be wet (although I've noticed after some rain, it seems tighter now) withe lava rock in it. Gotta love the 2 day free ship with prime! Thank you...the first part of the pipe was not hard, it was the gap between them once one side was wrapped that was a BISHHHH...had to use scissors to push the stuff through on every single pass.

^^^ hahaha yeah the 2nd pipe is insane....and since the roll doesnt go thro between the pipes, ever 2 passes you have to straighten the rest of the roll up

PLUS, since the roll won't go through you have to cut off what you assume will be enough to do one side...that's how I ended up finishing up with 3 clamps one one side cause i had to splice together.

I just measured how much i used on the first pipe and used the same amount on the 2nd....

but yes, you got the idea....the amount of wrap i used on the first pipe, i rolled it off the roll and cut it....used that on the 2nd pipe....
the wrapping was a lot tougher with the pipes on the car....you make a smart move by wrapping it before you put it on (or in)

Getting antsy, I'm all set to install my exhaust this weekend!
ALMOST washed my car today but if it rains, I'll be pissed and I'm itching to have the car clean once I get the exhaust on for some pictures and videos. I also am about to pop my spoiler back on and maybe my smoked tails...but I'm waiting to decide on that. I can never make up my mind.

when it rained, i was parked in the garage at work....I had cleaned my car just that morning....when i got to my car, the front/sides were spotless (garage, duh) but the rear (since i back into a spot) had tons of water droplets on it...
now if the front had water spots, i could care less since they "fly" off when you drive....by the time i got home, the droplets dried and left the nasty waterspots you were talking about....

^^^ Jer to avoid all this, i usually hit the wand wash at night....wash her up there and drive back home (air dry that bish)....and then wake up early and clean her up (wax/detail/whatever)....so that way you are not cooked by the heat....

Yeah we are no stranger to heat here J. It's already 90 and the high today is 100, and tomorrow, and Sunday, and Monday, and Tuesday...I only wash my car at night I hate the sun drying it.
