I think the silver bar looks fantastic, but might look a little out of place since there isn't much else that's silver.
And the Jetta's great, I'm having a lot of fun with it. But I've been trying to master heel-toes and the pedal placement is horrible.

About your clutch/gas pedal...have you tried playing around with your seat distance from pedal? Is there a checkvalve in the jetta?!?! I couldn't smoothly drive my TL to save my life when i had the checkvalve in the clutch slave cylinder.
I did red and blue at one point (not at the same time) and it was overdone. When adding accent colors there's such a fine line between it looking cool and being overdone. I'm trying to stop before I hit that.
Austin, click the link he posted before...it shows you what you need to make that rig. but that angle of the picture would make your wheel gap horrible...seriously...

No sir...I was saying it would make it more pronounced from that angle. I bet even MY car would look like it was ridin high from that angle.
You were right about the rig though...it was Morgan and not Tyler, sorry.
PS...we'll just get regular rolling shots together.

Sounds good, you're looking at some $$ to do that kind of rig. It's good to have the rig for the angles it provides though, and I'm sure it could be used for other things too.

Is that her name? I've met her once and I only referred to her as "Plaid Skirt" because of the picture lol.
She's apparently in the Air Force lol
Nooooo she def has a fantabulous booty
Right? Unlike Tyler over here I like my balls (er, ball ) to be in my pants not her purse
Stop trying to hit on Tyler, J.
I don't know I'll have to ask my buddy about it. It'll be later tonight when he responds though, he works midshift on base (11pm-11am) so he sleeps most the afternoon. I'll text you with the details.

spit mad fyahhhh!
Stopping by Acura in a bit to pick up my clutch spring assembly... hoping that that and some high temp urea grease will shop the incessant fkn creaking from my clutch pedal. I cringe every time I drive right now.

Trust me Steven...when I see the date changed, I ALWAYS know it's you.
Yeah, if I figure out this squeak, expect a thread update AND probably a DIY for the garage.
Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!

You know something funny...I actually didn't forget but didn't end up asking for it, I'm going to start putting together a list of little odds and ends that I'd like to replace. I'd feel dumb for going to the dealership JUST for that...

Bad move. Next thing you know, you'll walk out with a $600 invoice

Thanks Sean...
Ironically, on Saturday after washing both cars, decided to try and self teach myself some manual mode stuff...took about 30 pictures..went inside to take a look and what do you know...not ONE USABLE picture. I deleted the whole thing out of frustration. I was messing with settings and speeds and filters. Meh...got very discouraged.
Took a few with my phone...Saturday and this morning. Came out ok, but not the same DSLR quality, obviously.
Also, my spring install on my clutch pedal did nothing for the creaking clutch noise. On the other hand, the urea high temp honda grease I bought for the spring, I used my syringe and injected it into the master cylinder and immediately it stopped. So win win...guess need to see how long it lasts. If it doesn't last, i'll have to replace the master.

LOL...in my haste and annoyance, I deleted ALL the pictures from Saturday...some were blurry and ALL were either way over exposed or under exposed due to the shade of the tree. I don't know where I went wrong...
I'll give it another whirl this week though. Steven, thanks for the thread update...I know visiting a non contrast car's build thread must be taxing for you.
Anil..thanks for the compliment too.
