Unfortunately as happy as I am with how they look something's gotta change!

Drove the car on the highway and regular roads and realized it's rubbing a bit more than I'd like it to. I'll either have to raise it up a bit, take out the spacers, or have the fenders pulled a decent amount. First I'm going to stiffen up the rear suspension though and see if that helps; hopefully will reduce the amount of travel. It was rubbing with just me in the car, so it'll probably be a lot worse with any more added weight.

I would just remove the 15mm spacers and be done with it. That would stop the rubbing and you could keep the drop without making any adjustments. Even if you stiffen up the rear with your current setup, you are going to rub when you have any passengers in the car. Just my

Immpretty satisfied! The car is filthy. Hoping for a real shoot soon..

They're fully plastidipped white, no surprise there as I think I mentioned it earlier. I removed the 15mm rear spacers and now have zero rubbing. I also pulled my rear seats and stiffened up the teins to 4 clicks from firm. Much better than 11 clicks it used to be.

I'm thinking of repainting my calipers. Maybe orange maybe lime green. I also need new lugnuts, gorilla I've decided are garbage; two of mine have damaged threads

Yeah actually the dip peels off pretty easily as long as you lay it down as thick as you do on the wheels. Any overspray type splatter is a little more difficult but nothing a little goof-off couldn't get off

I'm leaning towards orange calipers and black "vossen" decals on one spoke of each wheel.

Here's a side shot

Q, I would do the calipers black...orange calipers will look good but take the attention away from the wheels....

however I think TEAL or Purple would look awesome....

and the decal on the spoke will look SICK....

Have you considered yellow, a la lambo/ctsv? Yellow would tie into your fog lenses so it won't be another color introduced. I'm not into the decal on the spoke. If anything put an "Illness" one on the rear window.

I love the contrast though, man.

LOL!

Yeah I thought about yellow but the fogs have been getting a little old. After having them yellow on the DGP and now on this for so long, it's getting kinda old so I may go to a 6k brilliant white to match my headlights and switchbacks.

Still haven't fully decided on caliper color idea...I'm too picky! Leaning towards orange though, but I understand what you mean about introducing another color. I should probably just leave them silver and be done with it for a bit

Honestly, I miss my silver calipers. The loud colored calipers are getting kinda played out, to me. Silver is classy.

Q, white vossen looks nice! I likey!!!

Original paint is safe when you peel pd off? I think I saw sharks had little issues with his F14 when he peeled pd off.

Are you gonna go with orange caliper?
I like silver, orange, teal and black for caliper.
I've gone through all,but teal. I might try it later.
My favorite is orange so far. I like silver too. Its classsy. Here's pic of mine to help your decision.

We should meet one day. I want to see your beauty in person.

I hate those wheels so much...
Orange is nice. I'm assuming you reused the center caps from the RZ? I've been waiting fkn 3 months for mine to arrive from Japan. I got the mid height darker silver ones.

and no communication that you can't cancel order, no communication that there'd be such a delay...I have to PRY updates out of them. They said it'd be on the ship and in port on the 18th...I've heard ZERO from them.

@anthracitecl Got your text Man! Looking forward to meeting up !

You guys are right, the silver is classy and I honestly don't feel much like dealing with it. But if I do change the color I'm definitely asking you for your paint code

Not a whole lot new lately. I snapped a couple random pics today while I was out. My buddy's silver TL has a frozen rear caliper; kind of randomly happened. Came out and the rear drivers caliper was holding the pad against the rotor. Drove up and down the street and it wouldn't release.

Hopefully will meet up with Glenn to get a set of BrakeMotive rotors and pads all the way around and a new caliper on the rear. Figured it was about time anyway. At 200k we did a bunch of work to it including 02 sensors, spark plugs, timing belt/water pump and new ps pump. Damn thing now has a rear main seal and front oil pump leak one thing at a time though...

This pic got a shoutout on a vossen_society IG page. Thought it was kinda cool.

Quick close up of the wheel front wheel. Came to the conclusion that after 2 days of driving they need to be cleaned lol. It's a labor of love though
