I wasnt sure if he was serious or making fun of the height

Of course coils are on. I dont keep anything anyway, suspension, exaust all trash.

Plus drive comes before the look

Ground to fender is good actually...i think, thats why car looks good
Its the 17s and smaller sidewall with 225s makes the gap ugly

Sorry, on mobile

Austin, who doesnt floor it in downhill

Jeremiiiiy, im suprised how you said S5 is pretty fast. You know thats my fav car as in driving but not as in performance. And last week, had a run with black new S4, which has the same engine as that S5, plus lighter probably.

Had 2 straight runs, 3 traffic in and out run.... And an exit ramp

The performance he put down was sooo low that made me suprise.

330hp is not that good for that fat ass. Plus i dont like turbos. You not sure what it will do off...
The one i had a run with AT, a guy around his 40s

Maybe MT makes that bish S5 feel pretty good. But v8 S5 forever, only reason i want the new one is because of the int/ext design

Got an oil change appointment on saturday. Debating on if i should slam the car or not and get balance on saturday.

How bad would it be in snow?
I would if I had 18"s but...
Front might be ok but maybe not sides, because not even my feet went under the side Aspsc. (With nike snickers)

Oh and also test drove
2007 black MT TypeS in 80k miles couple weeks ago. Noooot happy with it

I personally have about 10 squirrels that live in my head that are in charge of various things/topics. I have extreme ADD.

I've seldom met someone that has, from my best guess, about 100 squirrels going at one time. I can't even keep up with the thoughts that make their way from your crazy brain down those little arms like lightning to your pointy evil finger tips and into the keyboard.

WTF are you saying?!?! Did you really raise the car up for winter, then now ask us if you should slam it and get another alignment for winter?! YES, of course you should. Ebelp doesn't change his height for winter (yet).
Yes, the S feels fast as hell to me...maybe the 2012 is different? I'm not sure but it feels like a rocket...maybe I'm giving it too much credit since I haven't been pushing the TL hard lately.

Hahahahaha love ya

I thought i was clear haha

Yes knowing the car handles better, looks better low and not being able to taste it for a long time yet, makes me lower it but fuh it. I know i will go crazy while hitting the ski areas on weekends.

And now not having homeworks, lab reports, projects makes my weekedns perfect
Got a season pass for skiing. So everyweekend, im up on the mountns

No, i am saying i wasnt happy with the resulty TypeS gave to me.

Test drove,
05 MT TL with 110k miles, low front tire pressure (was too low), all dusty engine bay, engine mounts didnt look good, and all tires were almost bald

07 MT TypeS with 80k miles, super clean, cleaner than my TL, engine looked great, brand new tires

UA6 gave me more fun. Both stock by the way.

First thing came to my mind on TypeS was my moms MDX and dads RL.
Engine response wasnt quick as UA6, even throotle response felt like RL.
I was suprised it felt like a total different car. Forget my TL, i am comparing it to the MT UA6.

Close friend of mine that knows my car well and drove it pretty much too. Test drove both cars as well, said the samething. UA6 is more fun and quick. TypeS also felt heavier too

Then i talk to Anil, he says TypeS has RL engine

Then it made total sense.
Dont ask me i dont know about under the hood but i know a cars personality. And TypeS is a dissapointment to me now. I know that engine from dads RL too. Only thing he said perfect about it was the shawd. Whenever it comes to engine, he always says how good TL pulls and responses endlesly.

Positive TypeS is heavy, well UA6 i test drove didnt have navigation too but hey TypeS had brand new tires, newer car with 80k and clean.......

After getting into TypeS, first WTF came while starting the car. I was like this it started totally like MDX which i hate the sound of.

It was also so quiet like the MDX or RL, no engine sound, i fawking tried everything but still couldnt hear intake sucking, and nooooo exhaust sound at allllllll. No nothing
UA6 stock has a tune a little at least.

UA6 had a stock intake too but was yelling like hell, as friend also said.

J., this friend is from Istanbul. He had Fiat Uno yeaaaars ago, 2005 Opel Vectra, Seat Leon black one, then X5
He drives way crazier than me. I mean he is always slowww but when he goesss oh my god.

^^^ 3800 is 200 more than us LOL....thats a LOTTTT

I have run an S5 before, was fun.....for me

but it was AT...the MT I am guessing is quicker (read not fast, QUICK).....

Meko, also with the Type S, I told you, it has a FLAT torque curve and also when VTEC kicks in you dont feel it....in the Base, it puts you back in the seat....the Type S is quicker and and faster than the Base...end of story LOL....

If I had to replace my TL, I would look into a RWD or AWD car....either MT or DCT....I definitely wouldnt get a Type S and do the same which I did to the TL....doesnt make sense to me since there are a ton more cars which you can get for the price of a MT Type S, which offer a lot more fun

Thanks very much Eros!!!!!

Upgrading to a TypeS is the worst idea ever but i still cant find a car to replacw my TL with

As i said, either have to play big and get my Aston Martiniii
Or keep the TL

I wanted Subie BRZ because of MPG and fun but Morgan said, its not that high, since car is slow

S5 wont give me enough fun, how about M4 ?
Meh slow

After paying that much money i am gonna say i would get Aston but you know i started to want GTR too dammit

Sure cheaper than Aston to fix, awd for Boston, good mpg for daily...still better idea than aiming for Aston

I've driven an S5 (manual s/c v6); it pulls hard... really hard! It was my first time behind the wheel of an AWD vehicle.... good stuff.

The wife and I are in the market for a sedan or suv. I'm pushing for an "affordable" sport sedan; preferably a used B7 / RS4 with reasonable miles.

As much as I love Honda / Acura; not a fan for the fourth gen TL's design. If only the 3rd gen's were RWD or AWD.... what a joy that would've been!

Honda? No thanks

I knowwwwwwwwwwww
I feel like I even passed that 2dr car times
Can't see myself in a small BRZ after a TL

Time will come to get a GTR or Aston, then I'll be like I'll just get my fav sedan Quattroporte because of kids
Of course the old porte, not the new ugly Audi looking Quattroporte

AWD is fun if toooooo much power there
RS4 would be nice, I want one too but isn't that v8 kind of problematic

I wouldn't want a awd because of MPG but rwd TL sounds goooddd.... actually meh still no, then I would do bad in snow at Boston with RWD
I am good

If you thinking of keeping that affordable sedan you will buy, wait for the new TL.... maaaaaaaaay be maaaay be it might look good... may be

Not that I've heard or seen. A former co-worker of mine had one in yellow. I ALWAYS made him drive when we went out for lunch

Not sure we'll wait around for that lol

Hope to pull the trigger by +/- year's end; assuming we get bonues this year

The new CLA looks gorgeous! Curious as to what the price tag will be for the CLA45 AMG model?

I find it very hard to believe that this car got beat by a TL...
Not that it didn't...but it's hard to believe. This thing moves.

Holy sh*t...just read up on the RS5...V8 that revs to 8500 RPM. That's absolutely insane. Okay, I agree...I'd rather have that.

I dont know, there was a member here that bought RS4, almost returned the car because of the problems and he was mentioning how many people has same problems as well on forums...meh

CLA just couldnt pull my attention. Design or maybe being small sedan makes me feel like its for woman. And starting from 30k is too much.

Sometimes i say buying a car worth more than 20k is stupid idea in america

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

Beauty

And i think i will buy one of these instead of a Bmw e38

Cant say samething about Audi D2

Cant multiquote

Jeremy.....

Exactly my friend, seeing so many S5 around and thinking there is a better model of the car after paying 50k for an S model will make us feel like idiyets hahaha

Just buy a big old Jag sedan like a boss and keep the TL

About TL being fast. From now on I only call my TL fast.

Lots of people here think TL is slow. I guess its because of their way of taking the car then.

I have been to many cars, i know what fast is, if i say i love TL or trying to keep the car, there is a reason. Im in a position where i say i am comfortable to go with any car out there.

Had a straight run with a 335 coupe, nicely modded one. At night with no cars. Just straight. Guy found me on Masstuning on FB and asked what was under my hood. You prove it and people here still call it bs.

Had a run with v8 S5. Kept up good but after 4th gear, he moved on but not fast as to feel like a fool.

Had a redlight to redlight run with a blue 370z. Couldnt pass me. Thats what i saw

Only car i am scared to run with is
G37, because has an Asian DNA too

Butttt, if my feeligs are correct. I could put a good run with AT one in a light traffic under 4th gear.

Because that vq engine is not quick at all. It has torque but slow responses as a donkey

Thought dafs heavy FX was like that but you know i drove the G37 loan mamy times.
Ill do good if there is a light traffic but just cant find one to go against

damn Meko....you killing all these cars....nice

Jeremy....thats what happens when you put big ass vossens on a heavy car....the S5 I ran was lowered on 20" Vossens....I was an (easy) ~1000lbs lighter than the S5....

Meko but I will tell you this....when you run these cars and beat them, the owners face is PRICELESS....they just dont expect the TL to be quick

I found the G37 to feel fast too...
Well, I've ALSO never been in a TL that has the equivalent of 600 pounds removed so my statement was founded in ignorance.

Ohh... I have a secret though

Gas.

Shell in my town, has a vpower that ive never seen anywhere.

Gives more MPG, gives more lowend torque, i mean soo noticable.

My dad didnt believe me at first, he wqs getting gas from mobile in town, which was closer but not anymore since 3 4 years.

I tried every gas station in Boston, when i was living there because of school. Nothing is like this shell ever.

I was driving 20miles both way from Boston to get that gas and no one could make me run if my tank doesnt have that gas somehow..
Difference is huge. And i am 100 percent sure those son of a bitches in Boston even shell and mobil throw air in there. Car gets more than it should get. I meannnnn says that on the meter

----------

I know bro, that blue jag is amazing

Of course, and when that 335 owner saw that we were 3 people inside the car..... Hahaha

I had a custom sri that time and stock exhaust
But secret with that custom sri wassss, at nights cold weather.
It was like 2am... Turns to monster

----

And Jeremy, go force your TL for god sake. You drive too slow. I know because i saw

335is, G37s, & 370z are all snales; I quit wasting fuel on them awhile ago.

Correction; 335is is a BEAST from the hole.

Rich, you really light them up with a supercharger? That's impressive.
I love fast. I really do.

So you think Vpower makes a difference, huh!?!? I'll try shell again although that's generally what I use. Maybe they put in LESS ethanol. I also added a Lucas Oil injector cleaner and upper manifold lubricator. Getting close to 100K figured it wouldn't hurt.

I never ran them with the HBP setup (6 to 7 psi); but, I think it would've been a good run nonetheless.

With the custom shaft pully (3.2") & ALT/HBP combo (9 to 10psi), I walk on those guys from a rolling start.

S/C FWD runs are pointless from the hole... Can't put the power to the ground

Now having the FMIC, people usually stop to ask questions like: is it turbo'd?; how much did it cost?; how fast does it go? LMFAO!

More and more I'm realizing how much of a time piece this car really is due to how rare it is; love it!

That said, I do want four door saloon with a PROPER platform for the Mrs & I. The CL will be a weekend driver.

Oil Injector cleaner

if you put it in the oil it wont clean the injectors and if you put it in the fuel, it wont clean the oil....

I am a fan of seafoam....

This is what I do:
Put a can of seafoam in the oil crank case when you have ~100-150 miles left before an oil change
Drive normally

Put 1/2 can when I have ~2-2.5 gallons of gas in the car....
Put the remaining 1/2 can in the vac port
Drive it like you stole it

When gas is near near empty, fill her up....

come home, do an oil change....

I have 176K on the car....took this pic at 173K and was amazed at how clean the internals were:

Yeah, I meant fuel, not oil. Sorry.
I've done seafoam like that twice. Just wanted to try and switch it up a bit.

Hmmm...I have my doubts. I think you're catfishing us and you just will never buy rims. Don't talk to me, after driving around an awesome oem car on oem wheels and just springs I've personally been feeling like I've gone way overboard on modding this car.

Correction; 335is is a BEAST from the hole.
Isn't like this since only difference in 335is is the chip

335i < 335is < 335i with JB4?

I love fast. I really do.

So you think Vpower makes a difference, huh!?!? I'll try shell again although that's generally what I use. Maybe they put in LESS ethanol. I also added a Lucas Oil injector cleaner and upper manifold lubricator. Getting close to 100K figured it wouldn't hurt.
No not saying that for every V-power shell out there.
I tried all the shells in Boston too
Filled a moped from shell in Boston once too and first time we saw it took more than 1 gal. It was impossible by where the needle was at...
Air

Filled the MDX from a mobil once in Boston. Needle passed 1/4 tank, I still had the low gas light on, I don't know why

It's the shell at my parents town that's good.
Sometimes I see nice cars there, once saw a british guy with a soooooooooooooooo nicely perfectly modded Mini Cooper, he said the samething about MPG and performance.
Same words from a Vette driver as well

So can't say same thing about every Shell out there.
but difference is huge, huge that makes meeeeeeeee, look me me me... stop from racing with another car Is that possible haha

I like that
Yessss keep the CL

How about the new Mazda 6?
Or Buick Regal?
Can it be used car?

I am a fan of seafoam....

This is what I do:
Put a can of seafoam in the oil crank case when you have ~100-150 miles left before an oil change
Drive normally

Put 1/2 can when I have ~2-2.5 gallons of gas in the car....
Put the remaining 1/2 can in the vac port
Drive it like you stole it

When gas is near near empty, fill her up....

come home, do an oil change....

I have 176K on the car....took this pic at 173K and was amazed at how clean the internals were:
Should I do this???????????????????????????????
I want it too

I agree
Anil just thought about it, because of springs I think it's better if you get 16" tires
You'll be lower and of course lighter, you fat ass

Oh yeah J. you are way over the limit on modding the shit out of the TL
Who brakes the clips on side markers because of keep swapping them. Those are like once in a time swapping mods on a TL

Keep it up!!!!!!
But nothing is left
Take over the loan on that S5

oh loled at how first thing John said about the S5 was....bags
Love that guy
