Installed the new tails

Yesterday, passed my record. 150mph exact. Line was perfectly aligned with 150. Was running with a M3 sedan last night. All I got to say is this TL is crazy and I love it dammit

150 felt like 60, I was about to grab the cellphone to record but then couple cars slowed us down..
That comfy, that safe feeling.
Car that has 210,000 km is like a dead car to people in Europe or Istanbul
but this car is amazing

I have a question
She oversteers when I brake. Why?

Saw 150, had to brake..
Rear totally wanted to oversteer, it actually did a little, I just had quick response to leave the pedal and pass from right

But if I continued to brake, car was going to start drifting, because even with a light brake, I had to answer to the car with steering... not only with taking my foot off brake
That bad

Weight distribution?
Cheap brakemotive brakes?

This happend before too.. somewhere around 125-135mph

I always thought no diffuser would look ugly but I was wrong. I love how red leds give out it's red color much denser and it's like more bright.

I'm seriously very happy that you're happy, Meko. Awesome! I don't need the box back, but thank you! I don't ship often and when I do, I have a rotation of boxes that I use to ship back and forth. I take protecting the corners VERY seriously since they snap off so easily!

WOW oversteering under braking? oversteer is usually induced by slip (mostly due to power) on the way out (of a corner)....

I think what you experienced is just slip, maybe you were going too fast and tried to change lanes and your tires were on the verge of giving up....do you know how the speed rating of your tires? or maybe you just slammed on the brakes and tried to do a maneuver where the car almost gave in....either way looks like am gonna get my shipment of items soon LOL....

Exactly, and it's hard to oversteer on this fat FWD.

Let me be clear with short sentences.

Stock setup = Crazy understeer with the way I take the exits
After all my planted mods = Takes corners like AWD, if I push the limit, very light understeer starts. IFFFF I force the gas with some steering responses, you know... driftin I am positive rear end will kick out and start to oversteer

No I wasn't changing lanes for the 2 times this happend. Last time around 130mph, I wasn't changine lanes too.

You have to be idiot to understeer the car by changing lanes. All you might feel at highspeed lane changes isssss a feeling that car wanting to jump off the road to the next lane.

With proper tire and psi, you reduce that risk.

And yeah bish speed rating on my tire is 168mph
And new tires + psi was perfect when this happened. 32 front 30 rear


So why this happens on a straight? No idea

Too hard braking? Nooo I didn't, plus I would've felt the fronts first, hitting with ABS
Rears totally felt like it locked in and sliding the tires. Haven't heard the ABS by the way

First I didn't give attention last time but it did it again.
I don't know much about seized calipers but they do sound like a bird. Jik jik jik

Oh and you know how good the new brake install went this summer.

not sure why your tail is kicking out upwards of 125mph....maybe its trying to come upfront and slap you in the face

well in all honesty, after the mods I do agree that the car takes corners very very well....am happy the way the car is setup....infact so happy that I dont want to put on the Type S FSB which is sitting in my garage....

At times (with Torque displaying the G-meter), I like to see how crazy I can take a turn without any tire squealing and amazingly, I have done a 0.6G without an issue on a nice fast left hand turn....loved how the car stayed in my lane....

but I just get kicks out of little things like that and I dont speed through the rest of my drive....plus I get happy and dont challenge myself too often....been in a lot of trouble couple years back....

with high speeds meko, there are many many many variables, slip, a little stone or a bump on the highway (not uncommon), or just a bad judgement call (even by someone else), can cause a huge accident and take many lives....not to mention if you get paralyzed and are just drooling on the bed waiting for someone to wipe it off....slow down man....I know you might not drive fast all the time, but dont attempt 100+ regularly on the highway....hit the track, and do that....GOD forbid someday this will end up someplace else other than Azine....

remember, its not just you but also others on the road....I slowed down because I got a card from a coworker back in 2009....it said "slow down, I can smell the roses"....puts things into perspective, doesnt it

ok my two cents on the rear moving at 150mph.. prob track people can answer better... but at that speed any little bump,slight steering mvoement, road waviness.. can cause what you felt... the rear is not planted like the front are... just my guess on it

 

Sounds right and this AT weight is 60% front and 40% rear right?

What would cause this? Rear both side height doesnt match perfectly.

Right side is lower
Coil thread exactly same, allignment is done.
and noticed, after installing the 15mm spacers, rear right pokes out a little bit more. Very little

And right rear is lower than left

its not alignment issue...its just unstable at higher speeds...

either way as i mentioned its not oversteer, you probably felt a little slip since the car is not stable at such high speeds....it could be tires or wheels or weight or suspension...


and yeah S2K is a good decision any day...look out for people who have messed up the engine by modding it....I would buy from an older driver or a more mature person only reason being a lot of people beat on the S2K....I have seen some friends drive the S2K and FRS like they effin stole it....and I dont blame them for a 20K car....

turbo-ed and power mods but everything else looks stock...he even had the rear rim re-barreled to 10" wide so the car retains the stock looks....

Meko, for difference in height on rears.. check out the chasis.. I ripped mine twice but thats cause I drive like you.. only thing I can think of

 

I have an idea for the fogs....since its on a 2013 and 2014 model (one is german) I am waiting for the companies to make something and put it on ebay...then I will finish that mod up....

other than that, I just want to dress up the engine bay a little bit....without spending much
