@ no warranty.....when I worked with the wifey, a coworker would get all these sexy ass rentals....Mustang 5.0, Challenger RT, Charger RT....so I took the keys of the Challenger and asked the wifey to meet me up front....
the next 15 minutes were a smoke show

and when we were walking back to work, she was like, so we never getting a RWD right? coz you will go through a set of tires every 2 days
Aaaaaaaaaaand we are back

New radiator and new clean shiny tranny
and good service guy did a better job at those inspire fogs yellow wires and fixed them for me
Shifting? Perfect
Like new, I love it
Also, car starts so quick now. I don't know why and the sound starter makes has changed as well. Starts and sounds like the MT one I drove
Would the sound change without replacing the starter?
Haven't read the service report yet but while driving I know I saw that it said also replaced the rear tranny mount. It was broken

Had a RDX
Did like 575 miles with it

GREAT DESIGN, wow I am amazeeeeeeeeeeeed
idiots

FARUK!!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine painting the reflectors to black and leaving that chrome stripe thingy alone

FOGS ON

Car was slow, and cheap interior
No way for $40k
The only thing I loved about the car was the tone engine made between 4000 and 5000 rpm... when you hit the gas
Couldn't exactly found out when VTEC kicks in, but tone between those RPMs is just beautiful. Can't hear it after 5k
Listen the videos, you'll catch it
Yeah AWD sucks, can't remember how many times car did oversteer at the exits

Transmission takes a dump on Meko's car...he takes the car in, get an RDX, returns the RDX with a broken transmission?

that was nice of them to replace the transmission mounts.....time for some ATLP videos...

We all have done things with a loaner we would never dream of doing with our own cars

I just had a 2014 MDX loaner myself while the RL was getting services, kept everything civil as the car only had 2k miles on it
. MDX has come a long way.
Oh yeah I did push the limits LIKE all of ya
I think I did 80mph on a exit ramp when it said 30 or 35, but with my TL

Thanks guys

I miss driving this car sooooooooo bad, I do drive fast, speed up but don't force the shifts a lot.... just can't for now
"New thing" fact

Anil, I have to record outside video of ATLP, will do
Faruk, starting to work next Monday.
So cleaning, clay polish wax, this weekend + have to put the front RDX cover in

yeah Meko....
dont be a fool....stay in school....
on a serious note, 75% is awesome !!!! I wish my work would do that.....they reimburse 50% and only if you have a 4.0 CGPA....when I paid out of pocket (student loan) and did my Masters, I graduated with 3.7 CGPA....I felt that was good but not good enough of my current company

Yes maaay be in my dreams Steven.. actually not even there
Jeremy, Anil,
I need an experience to do Masters, I mean that's how it is in my field, plus have to do some other stuff in this year as well.
It's the work experience that talks in Civil Engineering, I am not aiming to be a professor or anything but even then, it's the experience that talks.
There are some exams you take. It's pass or fail. After you pass that, you work for 2 years or something to gain a right to sign off a plan or a design blah blah...
Will get that out of the way ASAP
Also will settle some stuff this year while working, and make plans on Masters next year.
Project Management? All you do in class is about work experience, I know it because of my 2 friends
They work full time, and take classes 2 days after 6pm
Construction Management is kind of more advanced but will see
I need one of those for sure in a long run

Meko...If I were you, I would first think about where I would like to see myself in couple years and see what exactly I would like to do....
depending on that take courses...not just because some friends are doing it
...
About work experience, I believe that field knowledge is more important that just book knowledge, but what you read in the books helps you out on the field....but just remember, once you get out there working, you loose the "tempo" to go back to school....
After I finished my masters, I wanted to go back for double masters.....but I started working and was never able to find time (I got fucking lazy) to go back and do couple things....
So make sure you make it a priority....

Dude this was my 5th year at school. I did co-op for a year, I know what I want actually and what leads me to top on the field I want.
Too many branches in Civil Eng you know that. That's why we have internships, we decide what to do in 2nd 3rd year of school.
Project Management is what leads you to top in my company
same with Construction Management
My friends were Finance and Business guys, it's me who actually needs Project Management.
Yeah true hard to go back college again but I've been there kind of, I know how it feels and didn't bother me to be honest.
I even left the school for a semester and went back again.
Working full time and taking classes will not bother me I know... not one of those kids
because I love what I do, I am the 3rd generation in Civil Eng... may be that made me love what I do, I don't know but what I planed out is pretty good for me right now
What I would think about all the time, if I had a convertible car

I havea couple of friends in construction and they said the same thing about masters.. work experience first and then take your masters... some folks they know have done it straight out of school and they are not doing so well as the ones who worked in the field first
but I should add that is in PA and MD.. not sure if it is the same across the US and mor importantly in your area

True... well, we all learn same stuff, thinking would be same all over the world. To be honest, even in my 2 internships, I've learned much more than I did at school. I mean I learn them at school but it feels like I have no idea what they are for... after you use them at work/field whatever, than you are like oooooooohhhhhhh
Did my final detail cleaning of this year
Interior, leather, window, doors, rims, washed the car
AND
Did clay the first time since 2006
Oh my god that thing does grab dirt
Tomorrow will polish and wax, yes first time on TL
Today 9/11/2001, and I was on the plane coming to Boston
Yup I had 3-4hrs to land on Boston, unfortunate happened and plane returned back to Amsterdam... still remember it like yesterday

WTF
My phone used to take better pictures before

after clay did you wax
you might have to clay again tomorrow....when you clay, your clear coat is naked and when you drive around, dirt and debris get in your paint...so you dont wanna wax/polish over it...
when I clay my car....I make sure the next step is to polish....

never wipe dust
give it a quick wash....
thats why I usually clay while washing
I wash her down with DAWN, then comes in Blackfire shampoo + clay...then rinse and dry

I know have to but I never do Steven
So I washed the car again, did the polish
I don't know what it does but it took out those gray scratches for example the ones on doors or side mirrors blah blah
Did the wax, oh my god, one of the best things I've done to my car
This 3 step just amazed me, I just couldn't leave the car

I even stop driving it, took the MDX for tonight hahahaha
Interior is so clean too, don't want to take off the leather conditioner by sitting on it

but it rained at night

Anyways I am like looking at my front bumper and getting hypnotized

I was just amazed with the outcome
I took nice shots with the camera but will come later
Will open a new thread and delete this one

and since 2 days... (at nights)
some of you know my friend with CLK320
well, we sold the car and put the xenons into use
We installed them to his 49cc moped

It didn't even have halogen bulbs, it had round parking bulbs kind of thing for headlights.
We fitted the lens there and used h1 (fogs from CLK)
Look at the cutoff
He is good with wiring, so he had that stuff done

You guys know how good I am with wiring but since I am a pro, I stay away from it

We also installed the leds

Of course don't have that courage when it comes to TL
If Faruk wasn't around, would had tried to custom my headlights but...nohhh TL is precious

Faruk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me see you not confirm that cutoff

I don't remember, we bought it long time ago for Benz but that lens kit whatever was cheap as hell, wasn't waiting that kind of cutoff with it

Assholes
