^^^many other factors go into that, namely:

rims size
tire size
camber kits? what type?
rolled fender?
how low are you going?

It's a work in progress!!!

you guys must have some good roads. I have the same setup (HT-Spec V2 Type I) but wont go any lower than how I am right now without scraping everywhere.

The roads here in central Fl. are fair... they can definitely worst roads elsewhere.

same here.

Thanks Rs143 this is true. Work in progress and still not perfect. Although i appreciate the comment of it being perfect.

The specs are as follows:

19x9.5 +40et all four corners with 235/35/19s and 5mm spacers in rear

MODS:

fender roll on all 4 corners... some more then others.

COIL OVERS: HTSpec Type1 version2 w/SPC camber kits in rear only. Non up front.

...like RS143 said... its a wk in progress. I currently need to jack it up and tweek the front driver fender again. Once i do it will be perfect. Its rubbing ever so slightly on incline drive ways and certain body steer twist when turning left. In addition this is all with out the AUDIO SYSTEM that is soon to be added. Which usually means back to the drawing board to compensate for the added weight. And last, let's not forget it to delete driver and I have a family of 5. So the families weight needs to be considered on the tweaking of the suspension at the very end when all done with fitment mods and audio...

So as u see buddy... its not all about just buying rims and tire, slapping them on lowering the car and driving... NO PLUG N PLAY here dude...lol - 6mo progress and still in progress. I am sure all this can be accomplished earlier than my time frame but life and family I have a lot has happened in the past 6 months to keep me away from working diligently on the car. GOOD LUCK bro... we r all here to help.

That's why the majority of people will see a car rolling down the road and go...GDammmm, that car was sectsy. Then they'll drive to a rim shop that'll sell them a plus 55 offset rim and fat tires and not lower and go..."how come my car doesn't look like that".

In addition to my previous post...and I'll only claim I'm an expert in this because over the years I've obsessed on it until I feel I got it close to perfect.

Start with getting your ride height...THEN set your camber to the specs you want, if you care about flushness get all fenders rolled...THEN measure how much room you have between top of rim/tire to fender and get the appropriate offset wheel. Can always add a spacer if need be, cannot REMOVE MM offset on a rim once you buy one that's TOO aggressive (although pull and fender work is an option, but not my thing).

J.

Took a long time, but now, I feel the MYSTERY behind why a car looks badazz rolling down the road, is gone.

It's funny, with stance, I've been torn between having the exact same wheel gap/tuck or really looking at the car as a whole and whether or not the front is level with the back. I finally gave in and maxed the TEINS which makes the back look a little more sunken, but at the same time when you look at the car as a whole, you can see that it still has a slightly raked look, which is perfection.

That observation and perfect look is why I don't drop my rear since I also have the slight raked look which with my wheels for some reason gives off a slight concave staggered look although all four corners are the same size.

When the front is lower than the rear, it's "raked". So what's it called when the rear is lower than the front??

In a way you can see that your car is actually leaning fwd like if it is racked...But with the rear wheels wells being a smaller cut then the front giving the squat appearance when it really isn't. I see why u say squatting since there is less tire showing in the rear then front. That is more of a false appearance IMO. Car looks awesome tho!

Thanks! Yeah, the front fender-to-ground measurement is 23.5" and the rears are at 23.8", so technically the front is lower but more tire does show in the front which is annoying. For those curious, I have clunked a few times recently on hard dips with the Skunk2 front camber kit installed. Turns out they are not invincible like I was hoping.

They are invincible...you just need to cut your shock tower area. Ask Aaron, he just cut a rectangular opening and no more clunking. We are very close to the same F to Ground measurement...hmmmm....

If you did coils and slammed it, you'd get some serious love on here.

Nice...what's your fender-to-ground distance front and rear?

My height bothers my OCD though. Should I raise the rear....lower the front....or keep it as is???

Fixed.

Just changed the oil and it's at the shop getting an alignment as we speak. All set for a road trip.

I'm still 24" all around FTG.
Squat squad member 3...honestly, I always avoided the squat look, but I recently realized that if you don't squat it, you end up with too much rake and the bottom of the car NOT being perpendicular to the ground...plus, the rear looked like it was up in the air....

Love it now...
The ground wasn't level so it made the squat look a lot worse

Thank you boys...what mainly made me say eff it and go low both front and rear was one day I parked next to my buddy's non lowered TL and the front looked MUCH lower, the rear, ALMOST looked like it was his height...that's what I knew...it was time to use the bottom of the car being more level to the ground to determine the stance and not the equality of visual rubber.

Plus, now when I park up somewhere...all tires are tucked, I don't notice if some a bit more than others...what I did notice before was if the fronts were no gap, and I parked on an angle the rears would have a little gap and that would drive me nuts.
