GTFO...ok, then you're welcome to stay!
SOrry to hear that buddy, but everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, when you get the new car bug...wait it out...sometimes it passes and you end up missing your old ride.

Right? Best part of it was when the cop turned around and told me she had no insurance.

She managed to hit my front wheel too. Oh well. Time to raise it up to send to the body shop I guess..

Oh and on a side note, these were taken without a wash! So bare with me if the car looks extra dirty. Esp in that lip on my wheels.

Since it only damaged my fender and door, nothing on that side.. but I have a type S spoiler in ASM(I think?) that's been sitting forever. Gonna get that repainted and put on and the holes in my trunk filled.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah shes getting a hoard of tickets. Thats it. Her registration & insurance was expired. I mean no harm in saying this, but she was a caucasian female. I'm sure if it was a hispanic male, he woulda been jailed on the spot. Anywho.. I had downtime with my car. Luckily I just yanked on the fender and made it driveable haha. No more rub!

Hopefully it doesn't take too long in the shop. Going to call insurance back today and see how it goes.

Its all about the trimming of the fog housing, Lovelifee.

very time consuming trying to get that perfect fit.

Like 05_NBP_TL said...very very tedious trim and fit trim and fit in small amts. It took HOURS! for me to get mine right or close to being perfect. Maybe a total of 4hrs non stop and 2 ppl (1 ea fog) doing the same thing and collaborating with one another on each side for fitment...) Def was a lot of wk. But mine look GREAT!

Haha also I think its cause you can't see the imperfections on these pics.

Heres a better ass shot to show the drop in the rear.

^^yeah, that's low. Now I see why people got on me to get the oem visors...those weathertechs aren't the best lookin.

Great stance though...so you're not rolled and will be raising it, if I understood that correctly?

all 4 are rolled but instead of rolling some more im going to raise it, just in case i sell it, it wont look so weird with stock wheels/suspension, and i like my visors, they are more bulky than oem, i dont smoke, i just like the look. The oem ones seem to be more flush, these seem to have more room to leave your windows cracked a bit, these are AVS brand, the factory where they make them is just a few minutes from me but you cant just go in and buy them lol, have to go through vendor

JPtypeS...why not roll some more (heat the fenders, and do the phone book method to pull them slightly since you already have them rolled.)

You can raise it up when you sell it, right? Just trying to keep you from having to get another alignment because you raised your car.

^ do the phone book pull. I had to do it a bunch on every fender. Worked like a charm.

^me too! i rolled my fenders after lowering my car. I had stockies with 15/20mm spacers. was good until i bought my wheels 2 months later, then i needed more clearance so I heated my fenders and pulled them using the "phone book" method. easy fix

I'll have to look up that method...but I'm about as "flush" as I care to be anyway for now...

I had the weathertech visors and people convinced me to go OEM. Glad I did...I don't smoke anymore, either!

GeeCastle, he didn't notch anything (IIRC) but he also didn't keep it this low for very long.

If you don't mind me asking what's (IIRC)? I'm pretty new to this so I'm still learning. An yea I bet that's low as fuuu! I was surprised it was static an not bagged. But thanks for answering my question.

It looks like your exhaust tips are ...crooked? The wheels look great, but all the small details are really killin' the look.

Took me a while to figure all that out too!
Yeah, those tips are pointing down a bit, but it's to be expected since they look like quad 4" cans!
