What camber could you put it at and still not rub do you think? I have the same setup and am about to lower, but not as low as you haha.
Also what cold pressure do you run on your 225s

They brought the rear almost to OEM specs and I'm still not going to rub in the rear. The fronts with a camber kit could easily be near OEM specs and not rubbing if I had my fronts rolled. Possibly getting the fronts rolled this week coming up (if we don't get this massive snow storm now) and adjustable ball joints in the next few weeks
Knock on the wood it says that we will have 40F this week until Monday.
Snow on Monday
I don't want snow anymore. It snows in NH for skiing. That's good and enough
No need it in Boston

Rubbing in the front when I turn up an incline or down a decline only. Rears are rolled but I plan on getting the fronts rolled very soon. Maybe have them pulled also so I can go lower

Thanks bud....a friend is looking to get +20 offset with 225 tires and I keep urging him to either get 215 tires or +25 offset....
lets see what he does...

Depends on how low you go. My rears are rolled and with my current height my 225/40 have a hair or clearance. I'll see if I can snap a pic real quick. Mind you I got the new alignment with less than -1 camber on the rear now
Few shots: Don't mind the road salt. Bathing her tomorrow since all the craps melted off the roads now.

^^^ depending on how low you want to go, I dont really think you want 235 tires on a +20 rim....I would do 235 on a +35, or 215 on a +20....
OEM is 235 on +45 wheels...+20 means it will stick out 25mm...thats a lott...most people put 20mm spacers on the back....now if you drop to 225 tires, it will stick out 20mm that OEM which will be flush without going camber/roll crazy....
for my winter setup I am running 225 tires AND 25mm spacer on OEM wheels....making it 225 tire and +20 wheels....I am running -1 camber in the rear and this is how I sit....I am not tucking tire (let me rephrase that)....I CANT tuck tire, it will be rub like a bish....

now if you roll your fenders and slight pull, I bet you can make it fit....the fronts will be another story though

I'm honestly just looking to close the wheel gap. No interest in tucking tire or anything.
And I'm still learning about fitment and everything but wouldn't a 225 on an 8" rim be fairly similar to a 235 on a 8.75" rim?
And I'm actually going to be doing +33 up front with the 235s, so fronts won't be a problem. I just want the rears more flush.
EDIT: And not trying to thread jack or anything, I love your car Dan, I'm using it as inspiration for my own

if you can fit a 225 tires, whether you use a 7" rim and a bulge look or a 9" rim and a stretched look, it will fit fine for the same offset....
if you are not tucking tire, 225 on a +20 will fit just fine...you wont even have to roll the fender....just make sure you dial in a tad bit of camber so your fender is not right above the tire (like I am sitting right now...I need to dial in a tad bit more camber)....
I feel like rim width has everything to do with it though..
A 225 on an 8" (203.2mm) rim like yours has roughly 22mm of extra width.
A 235 on an 8.75" (222.25mm) rim will have roughly 12mm of extra width.
Which means there would be a reduction of 5mm on each side of the tire from the 235 compared to the 225.
Maybe I'm doing this completely wrong.
EDIT: Which would mean the 235s would be very very similar to your winter set up? Considering you have a +20

the 10mm difference is from the tire and not the wheel width....225 tire is 10mm narrower than 235 tire....hence it will stick out 5mm and be closer to the suspension by 5mm....
go to this website:
http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp
the calculator does not take into consideration the stretch....so it wont allow 225 on a 9" rims....
try a 225 on a 7.5" rim and 225 on a 8.5" rim with the same (say +35) offset....you will see it will say everything is the same....
but if you put a 235 on a 9" rim, it will tell you how much it will stick out/etc

Don't bump down to a 35-series sidewall.
