Thanks for the comments, guys. Sean, you speak the truth haha...I love the way she sits right now.

haha Jeremy, trust me the thought did cross my mind at first, but right now I'm tucking tire and there's probably 2mm of gap between the tire and fender. I don't think I could go to a 25mm spacer by any means.

If you look at the pics at the bottom of the previous page, you can see that since I dropped the rear more, it sits slightly lower than the front. It doesn't look bad like this, but the non-symmetry does irk me a little. Should I lower the front about 1/4" or so?

this? yes, lower the front a little. or maybe nudge the back up if drivability becomes an issue, you are a Poppa Bear anyway, aren't you?

I must say I think the TL, 3G of course, is the one car on the road with a sexy looking rear!! Once it's kitted and dropped it just amplifies it more.

Yes, that...it's a little more noticeable from that angle. Okay, I'll lower the front more haha. Yes, I'm a poppa bear, but I don't usually have all the kids in my car. The TL is mainly my ride to and from the office. Wifey's car is the weekend family vehicle.

Thanks Tyler!

Just for shits and giggles, here's a time-lapse vid I made of one of my weekend tasks. Trampoline time! The GoPro only captured about half of the assembly before it died, but it still turned out to be a neat vid IMO.

Thanks man. After I uploaded it, youtube "recommended" a bunch of other time-lapse vids people have made of their trampoline builds....guess I'm not the only one with that idea haha.

Wow, WDP is probably the "cleanest" of the TL's. It seems like everyone with that color has a super clean looking car, the white is just so crisp and photogenic. I didn't read every post so excuse me if this has been asked/answered before but, how low are you from stock setup? Just asking because I'm getting 18's on 235 tires and REALLY don't want to roll fenders.

my first post in you thread was about getting your centers powder'd gunmetal. I say, just a tad lighter, like what tyler's wheels look like.

but it might just be because this is a cloudy/dim shot and you shop'in it properly to te photo

Thanks Aaron, I used iMovie to create the vid. It was really easy actually. Just dragged the .jpgs from the GoPro into iMovie and it pretty much did the rest. It even lets you export directly to youtube.

I like the wheel rendering too...thinking about mixing it up a little.

Thanks man...I actually just measured my four corners this morning and I'm between 23.5" to 23.75" fender-to-ground (yeah, they all vary by 1/4"...need to fix that).

I chose to photoshop it to the shade of plastidip for a reason.

Nooo! I'll get pulled over instantly if it's any darker. Another reason I'm jealous of you FL guys.

A little lighter so you can see the design of the wheels from far away

That black wheel look great. I agree with the tint need to be darker too. Look very good overall.

Your tints are fine...
Your wheels are fine...do not black them out...to pull off a black wheel, and not have it look tiny, it needs to be a spoked wheel and a pretty big size. Plus, I like the silver on your TL, matches your grill.

^Thanks for the advice. Yeah, thinking about it more, since my winter (OEM) wheels are gunmetal, I don't think I want to create another dark set of wheels.

Ahh the infamous tint vs. tints debate. Love it. Although I believe the word, "tints" is a reference to sunglasses, it does sound awkward in this context. Kind of like saying "sheeps".

Well, in my defense...
Fish and Fishes is correct. That blew my mind!

Plus, I have a tint on every one of my windows, so I have more than one.

But it's "window tint" not "windows tints".

Very Clean! Always Love a properly modded WDP! I say keep the wheels as they are. Also like the time lapse vid! More GoPro vids!
