Me too. I dunno where you get around 40-45 unless you live in a place where gas is expensive as shit.

$35?? Holy. That's how much it'd be for me to fill up at 1/4 a tank. But ~$3.25/gal for premium. I fill up a while after the gas light comes on and the range is <10 miles. Bad habit, I know.

Sorry...again...and that is why I don't wanna touch it. How much was that panel. Oh and lets not forget...it kinda was your idea to get my fatass in there. Though...I could've not listened and used the A-Pillar and you'd be really pissed.

Car looks good.

After the grille paint fully cures, might want to think about clear vinyl to help prevent rock chips and debris pits on the finish.

Maybe its me, but I dont spend 45 a week on gas. I work everyday and still do normal driving running errands and what not.

I think he exaggerates his point to paint a picture of the TL being expensive.

Plus....my point was the 04's are so cheap that I see no issues with a 16 year old having one....hell anythings better then a fucking scion

My point wasn't to offend you or make you defensive at all. I apologize that you took it that way. But in relative terms, a 3G TL isn't a cheap car for a 16 year old. And I filled up my tank yesterday for $43 at BP. My school is 13 miles from my house. So that's ~26 miles a day, excluding random drives to other places. I also drive 5 hours to Michigan once a month to visit my mom. Just saying it's an expenisive car since I pay for my own gas. I don't care though, I picked it as my first car.

Dtown- sorry for shitting up your thread.

Ironically, these newest pics made me want to keep my headlights with the amber. AND put my stock red tails back in. Great looking car. You need to do NOTHING. You probably won't but it looks perfect.

About the gas. In South Florida I could do about $45 a week. 1 tank...and 28 mile rounttrip to work every day with a trip or 2 to Miami or random places. If I drive nice a carefully maybe 8 to 10 days. But with my leadfoot...a week is spot on.

Dtown- sorry for shitting up your thread.

You didnt offend me one bit. I just disagree with your logic.

You picked it, like you just said. So knowing that you drive 26 miles a day and 5 hours to Michigan doesnt justify your arguement that the TL is an expensive car for a 16 year old. Its an expensive car for you because of what you do with it.

Well..the car is a freaking pollen magnet. Idk what it actually is, but it looks like some yellow dust and I assumed it was pollen. I dust the car every afternoon when I get home from school with the California Duster thing...but any other suggestions to keep the pollen off?

Ahh you and I both. One of the few times I'm glad I don't have NBP as I can only imagine how much that color shows pollen. I'm not sure there's much you can do to keep it off of your car since it seems to stick to anything. I'm sure a fresh coat of wax wouldn't hurt- but it looks like your TL already has that.

That's not good man! I usually fill up when I'm down to a quarter of a tank. Premium around here ranges from $2.90 to $3.05 a gallon.

Sorry to derail the thread though! I hope the calipers can be done soon
