I got the type ones too. Which flash amber/white rather than amber/none. The resistors and led's should be in by the end of this week.

Well, everything is all set and proper, maybe going to do a quick shoot of the new headlights and what not. Also, it anyone has done the resistors (the DIY one specifically), the connectors and the t-taps keep breaking contact with each other, a quick look last night and I discovered it was the wire, so I pulled it out and crimped on another connector. Now, it works, but when I was start putting back the trunk pieces it breaks connection again, and I still have to adjust the wire a certain way, it works fine right now though...any ideas?

Well, I was going to wait to update, and add pictures, but I can't find a day to wash the car so here we go. I just added the Koni Yellow shocks to my S.Techs, and added Powerslot Slotted Rotors. What's next? RV-6 V3 j-pipe and I decided I wasn't feeling the black rims, so I'm looking for something different, and a little wider, like 19X9, or maybe even 18's, like the a-specs.

Mods: Can you make it say update pg. 11?

A-Specs FTW. A gunmetal set would look dope on your car.

How's the ride with those Konis?

Ya, I want to find a set of the a-specs for just the right price. Also, I love the ride with the Koni's. So smooth and firm. Way way way better that the stock shock ride.

Nice pickup with the shocks and rotors. Really glad to see you're putting performance above looks

They're a little pricey, but how about some Axis Hiros?

I might consider those. I wanna try 5-spoke now. And I just try to equal performance with looks, haven't put one over the other.

Last shot is pure sex. I love what you did to the grille.

But let me be the first to say that your rear fitment needs to be MUCH more aggressive.

can you tell me HOW you afford all this stuff as a HS student? Haha i havnt been able to do much...

but the progress is crazy man. koni yellows and tein ss shocks are exactly what im looking at. im on stock shocks now... how much did the combo run you? and howd you like it?

looking good man. I had OZ Galileos, which were 6 spoke wheels. IMO, unless youre going aspec or need a more comfortable ride, stay with 19s. plus you can reuse the tires. I want a switchbladeeee

Looking good as usual man! I like the last picture as well.

You mentioned how you are getting sick of the black wheels; do you have any you are considering? I think a set of Enkei RPF1's would look dope on your car.

I honestly afford these things by working. I do many things. I wash cars, I'm not the best, but I've ordered some non-otc things, and wash them. I also work a SMU, a college, as a "coach" for day camp. On top of that, you'd be surprised how many kids in my school can't change dome lights. I order the LEDs, charge an extra 10 bucks, and install them. I also work at Best Buy on the weekends during the school year.

The suspension- The shocks I had for a while and ordered them from Excelerate for about 180 bucks. I ordered the shocks from Excelerate recently for around 600 bucks. I really really like the setup.

The switchblade was a surprise from my dad, because the dealer only had one key when I bought the car, and he wanted me to have another one.

Are they 19"s? Besides, right now, I can't afford anything for my car. It will be a while before I get new rims IF I decided to. I would like to wait for my tires needing a change before I get new rims, in case I drop to 18"s.

Car looks amazing dude. Seriously. Props for someone my age having a TL that looks like yours. Like others have said, I'm amazed you can afford all this. Haha. I have a part time job (detailing cars...) and I make decent money but I've been raised a penny-pincher and am afraid of spending it.

Thanks so much man. Ya, I'm willing to bet your savings far surpasses mine. I just work so hard because I've had to pay for gas, and I have to cover half of my insurance. It isn't easy, and I try to make money anyway I can. You just have to be wise. Look at how well you can make money, how much you have to spend, and see what you have extra. I'm not into buying all those clothes and shoes and stuff, I just deal with what I have, and I usually don't buy food, so save money that way. Everything counts. But I really like your TL, it, at once honestly made me want to try going back to stock.

Edit-I still need to grow a pair and try out that di-noc stuff.

They come in 15"-19" sizes. Here's the link to the Enkei website:

Also...today is exactly one year since I got the car. I put roughly 6500 miles on it in a year. I was looking back, and I have really came a long way. I just wanted to share my excitement.

Haha we got our TL's almost at the same time then man. I got mine August 7, 2009. 11K miles since. My mom lives in Michigan so I drive to see her a lot- 300 miles one way.

You've come a long long way in a year though.

Ya I don't have to drive that far. My dad's place is only 20 miles away from my moms, so it isn't too bad. But I didn't even get to drive her today...

I only drove something like 4500 miles first year I had my Accord. This year? 22k and counting, and it's only been 6 months.

Mileage really does rack up for some reason.

Wow. Well this year I have to drive atleast 12.8 miles a day for school, so I think it might be a little higher. I'm dreading the 105k tune up though...hopefully my pops will pay for that one. All maintenance is covered by him.

I'm due for 105K. My cousin and I are thinking about tackling that down. I need to get motor mounts too sigh. But after that, I know it's going to be some weight off my shoulders. Your car is looking a lot nicer. It's nice seeing people's progress

Motor mounts are a bitch when you get them out but putting them in is easyyy. I fought the rear mount like a champ with my buddies at the shop those vacuum lines are a bitch. The front takes some maneuvering to get it out and the side mount takes like 5 minutes lol.
