I know what it's like Tyler, speaking firsthand of course. Shit is no joke, but like you said they caught it very early, and that is a huge part of it. I'm sure she has a team of doctors helping her out, and trust me on this, they know what they are doing. Hope all is well dude.

Thanks man I appreciate that and big thanks to everyone else who has posted and told their experiences.
As of right now she's doing ok, both with the news and with her health. She had a PET scan this morning which (if I remember correctly) scans surrounding areas to see if the cancer has spread elsewhere. We are waiting on the results.

Well, I just learned that she's going to do 5-6 weeks of radiation, with the first session starting this morning.
We are still waiting on the PET-scan results.

Thank you sir!
My girlfriend actually got the knob for me!
I'm not sure about the part number though. Google "Acura TL wood shift knob" and something might come up

Tyler, my wife Rhonda just got through with 6 weeks of radiation from her 2 breast cancer surgeries.
This might be good news. Since Rhonda's cancer was at Stage 0, she did not have to do chemo. So if your Grandmother is in radiation, that's probably a good sign.

I believe my grandmother is doing exactly what Rhonda did, just doing radiation and not chemo. I'll have to find out more info today for everyone!
From what I've heard it really taking a toll on her physical health. She's exhausted and doesn't want to do anything anymore. It's sad because even though she's stuck in a wheelchair, she was all about going out on the town.
As for other "exciting" news, I had an effing kidney stone Friday evening.
If you've never had one, consider yourself lucky. I've had one before but this one was so bad I had to go to the ER. I was drenched and sweat and couldn't stand still. I was pretty much cursing and acting like a mad man while I was waiting to be admitted. Most doctors say that a kidney stone is pretty much like giving birth for men, the pain is that intense. After two large doses of morphine and 4 doses of other meds, the pain finally subsided for a while.
I just can't win recently

Goddamn, luckily I've never had kidney stones. Did you pass it yet?

Passed it the same night thankfully. I got all doped up on meds, came home, slept for 6 hours or so, and then passed it. I kept the stone so I can take it to a urologist this week and have it examined to see what it's made out of. That way I can avoid certain things in my diet.

It's hard to believe that something that small had me almost in tears because of the pain.

Damn Tyler, glad you passed it. My mom informed me a coulpe weeks ago that sweet tea could also give you a stone. I was like, "WHAT! I've been drinking this like water all my life and you tell me now!?"

My Dad told me that passing kidney stones was the worst pain he'd ever endured. Said it made him want to jump off a bridge.
Glad it passed fast, man. I was always told that not drinking enough water could contribute to them forming...not other sodas etc...just water.

Thanks everyone!
I've had my wisdom teeth taken out, tonsils removed, and all sorts of shit but by far that kidney stone was the worst pain I had ever been in. When the doctor walked into the room, I was on my hands and knees yelling and cursing because it hurt so bad. My shirt and my shorts were looked like they were glued to me because I was sweating so much. It was a terrible experience.
And yes I have the stone and yes I will post a picture if you want
It's just like a grain of sand, this one is larger than the last. The last one was clear and like a triangle but this one is more round and dark, probably blood that the fucker took with it when it was going through
I have an appointment on Wednesday morning to see what the eff it's made out of.
I need to start eating better and working out. I don't eat terribly, but I rarely have fruits or vegetables. Plus the only work out I get is walking across campus or sexy time
I just can't afford to be having these kidney stones when I'm at school or at a professional setting.

Yeah, imagine passing a stone when you're about to go to a job interview or a gang bang. NOT GOOD.

Morgan I'm laughing too because I don't think you would ever be found in that second situation unless it's with all guys :ghey:

What you can't see is that the girl is actually a transvestite, so it makes perfect sense that Morgan is her partner for the scene.
