Every time I go to Europe I think...why is it so hard for us to get the concept...gas is a limited and expensive resource...smaller, cooler, sportier, more versatile cars.
A "laundry room" Yeah, ok...it's called a basement or it's a tiny machine that fits in the kitchen...they don't waste space or much of anything anywhere else in the world.
Nice that we live in a country where we can, but doesn't mean we should.

We got a good check.for the total, but for the rest of her life she'll need to visit a chiropractor 2x a week. She needed pins and rods in both wrists. She barely escaped getting a plate in her head. She has limited movement in her wrists, and can't carry anything more than a plate of food without extreme pain. She's been on and off painkillers since then. Her memory is spotty as well. She's a fucking tough lady, but it literally fucked my family what happened. She's not the same woman as when I was a kid. The family is over 6 digits on the losses of that. I despise those attorneys for what they've done, even more than the driver at fault. He quit driving, admitted fault in court, etc. He owned up, like a man should when they fuck up.

Thanks guys. That's only one hardship we've had too lol. But we are good at moving on. However, once a month its brought back up.because.of the lawsuit...so no one can move on. I mean, medically my mother has died 7 times. But that's nothing because we got to accept it and move on. Ya know?

My wife's father worked on the railroads too. Some of the stories she's told me......
That movie was very scary-to see how quickly things can get out of control on the tracks.
All the best to your Mom, Sean. You say she's died 7 times-in this case, I hope she has much more than "9 lives"....as they say.

I've had a few people PM me about powdercoating wheels and such so I figured I would make a post about my journey with the A-Specs.
If you don't already know, I have a set of the 18x8.5 Gunmetal A-Specs that were only offered on the 2004 TL. From that MY forward, the specs were 18x8. Since the paint was so old, it began to discolor and chip off....
You can see how bad the paint was once I had the tires removed...
This picture hurts my eyes. My apologies...
Anyways, I took the wheels to a local powdercoating shop and paid $330 for all 4 to be sandblasted down, curb rash fixed, and powdercoated.
In this video you can see how everything is done to prep a wheel for powdercoating:
I had two extra coats of clear put on my wheels because I wanted them to really shine and also because the clear can help darken the color a bit.
In direct sunlight, the wheels look very light, almost a light grey...
And then as soon as the wheel gets in any kind of darker lighting or a shadow, it looks much darker...
At night it almost looks black...
Also, make sure you reinstall wheel weights before putting them back on the car...
^That's not all of them btw
Sooooo yeah that's pretty much it. I suggest looking for powdercoat colors at powderbuythepound.com. Confirm with the shop before ordering anything though.
