Yea, thats the other thing....I love the sound of a turbo'd motor, but I think Benz has THE best sounding V8s.

+1 on AMG V8 noises. They are orgasmic.
I roll my windows down and turn down the music whenever I see an AMG near me

I don't like the Benz v8 sound
It's like muscle car sound... unlike BMW
Since only true muscle car is American muscle... it doesn't match
Sounds good but there is no European muscle... should not be

I guess I want a newer car that even though the manufacturer is popular, that the model isn't.
How many A4s have you seen in the last month and how many were Avants? I don't think I've seen an Avant in a few months and I think I've only seen one A6 Avant EVER.
Now think about how many S4s and S6s you have seen, only a couple probably, and then think about those variations in Avant form. They are SUPER rare.
TLs are a dime a dozen and I hate it. I feel like I'm spending all of this money on a car that doesn't look THAT much different than a stock one on the road. Avants (and wagons in general) aren't common at all and to have one with a V8, or another powerful engine, would catch people off guard without sticking out like a sore thumb on the road.
Unless you were good with cars, you wouldn't think much of that RS4 Avant until you heard the exhaust note.
Plus you aren't sacrificing anything with the interior just because you got an Avant. The inside is almost identical.
How many times have you wished the rear seats in the TL would fold down? You don't have to worry about that with an Avant

Love that steering wheel. I wish my Type S had the flat-bottomed steering wheel.

My Accord's seats folded but weren't split, never needed it.
Man, that Avant interior... I'll take one in 6MT, please.
Never really understood the point of flat-bottom steering wheels. So they have a flat bottom to make space for your legs, right? But when you turn it that advantage goes away... and doing hand over hand with a flat-bottom throws me off.

Well in all honesty, I rarely have more than one hand on the wheel anyways But I was taught hand-over-hand, and it's a lot easier than the wheel shuffle.

Is that because you have the other hand playing with a penis in the passenger seat?

Corny joke, I know.
