Tyler, you seem like me, I have over-edited photos, I like them to be clean and edited to natural colors, as if you were there when the pic was taken.

For a while I was really into pumping up the contrast of pictures. Over the years I've learned to keep them natural looking. Nowadays I just increase the brightness a little and call it a day. I rarely do more than that.

The one in Charlotte? Hellz yeah I'll be there.

I actually drove through Charlotte this past weekend. Mitzi and I attended a wedding in Greenville, SC. We stopped at Sonny's for lunch on the drive home

That asparagus looks amazing...

I was looking at the Nikon's yesterday at Target, SUPER nice...I love my 30D Canon though, and per John, I can take plenty of great shots with it. There was a this hybrid Nikon though...about $550...OMG...the pictures it took looked like what I was seeing with the naked eye...amazing.

This one...

Tyler, can you believe I was rocking those cheezy azz window visors!?!?!
I kinda miss my base red tails when I see that picture, believe it or not. Something really gorgeous about the red on WHITE and the red on BLACK!

Agreed, I got my entry-level DSLR with a telephoto (55-250) and 18-55mm kit lens for around $700. You can do so much more with a DSLR, it's worth the extra money, giving that you're going to use the DSLR for it's true purpose and not take hipster pictures like a 15 year old on facebook.

ZOMG, newww Nikon guise!! It takez such nice pics of me in mai bathroom mirror!

I don't even have a post-processing program anymore. all my updates have been straight from the camera. makes me sad.

We still need more, and I want to see a different BW filter done, if you don't mind. I thought they looked too light and hazy compared to how BW your car itself it, ya know?

Jeremy that camera is really cool but I think it's overpriced. Granted I've used one before and loved it, it's just hard to believe that almost cost as much as my D3100. And yes, I'm glad you got rid of the visors. I love both sets of tails on your car; I've been thinking about putting my red ones back on too

UD what do you shoot with?

Sean you need to get SOMETHING to edit your pictures with. I'm not sure if you have a Mac but if you do, get iPhoto. It's great for basic post-processing. I usually just increase the brightness a little and that's about it.

About my pictures, they turned out REALLY dark, so I had to reduce the contrast and pump up the brightness. That's why the picture seems so light and hazy. I'll post an original here in a second.

Here's the original...

Like I said, it's really dark. I had a hard time editing with iPhoto to bring out the true view I had. Once I increased the brightness, the sky would turn white and wash out the car.

The only time I'll sell my tails is when I sell the car. I put too much time and effort into those damn things

Anil stop spending money on tails and get some damn RPF1s

I use a Canon Rebel XS, entry level about a year ago, they discontinued it, now the entry level is like a T3i or T2i, can't remember. I used iPhoto for play before I "bought" Photoshop, I didn't like that once it edited a photo it make a duplicate and saved it somewhere and didn't ask if I wanted to overwrite it. So now CS5 is my image editor. Can't wait for CS6!!

Tyler you'd need a program so you can highlight certain parts of a pic. iPhoto sadly won't let you. If you want a basic, entry level editor I'd look into Aperture on the Mac App Store. I haven't used it because I used Photoshop in school and know how to use it effectively but read some reviews and try it out if you want. I think it's around $80. Better than spending almost $1k on a program you'd need training in lol

Look into CS6, you can get a trial and try it out. Even CS5 is crazy. Like...selecting a spot and then clicking a few buttons and BAM! That power line in your picture is gone!

You guys will think I'm nuts for not using it, but I have CS5 or 6 or something my fiancee got from work a few months back. I tried messing with one thing, but not much else. I guess I should.

Yeah, figured that camera was overpriced, i just was amazed at what great shots it got in the store. I'm sure the DSLR's next to it would be the same. I'm going to get some lenses one of these days.
