After showing up 4 hours late to the dyno which purely wasn't my fault ,story later I'll get to the point got a mini tune on car today .. Before you all ask where pics where's video & where's dyno sheet , I'm at a surpise birthday party my friends threw for me right now. So I snuck away to type update from my phone ... I'm at 6psi right now running of the wastegate spring for now the car made 343whp & 333 torque .... with airfuel ratio at 11.3 .. Yes I know that's rich , Hes not done yet like I said I showed up 4 hours late .....and yes the car runs good no bogging no breaking up , as a matter a fact I just got pulled over for tires spinnig of light , speeding & loud exhaust but the lady was a charm she said happybirtday and don't let me catch you driving like a jerk again.....................................I also got a 1 min 38sec video of last pull on tuners phone so I'll post that too tomorrow...

This is awesome man...So you now officially have the most powerful TL .. in the WOORLD... Pretty baller status! Haha

Can you elaborate more on the tire spinning? Like is it too much power for a FWD car like many have suggested?

I especially like the torque. Can't wait to see what the hp and torque curves look like. I bet it makes way more low end than the supercharger. This thing will make an easy 500whp at around 12-14psi.

Sweet numbers. Questions that come to mind:

1. Can this be used on a TL-S 5AT? Can an auto tranny hold the power?
2. Can this be marketed as a kit?
3. What impact does this have to the reliability and longevity of the car? ie. hopefully you can go 100k without the car sounding like it is dragging chains, or the fuel pump doesn't go out every year (like my friend's JB3 335).

350whp is easy for any aftermarket Walbro pump. I stretched a single one to nearly 600rwhp. Not enough power or a bad ground or raising the pressure relief of a stock pump are the usual culprits of cars eating fuel pumps over and over.

If it's kept out of detonation (properly tuned) it won't effect engine life that much.

No one knows how much the auto trans will hold because no one has ever made any real power before. My guess is it will hold up ok after seeing one torn down on a bench. Keep it on street tires and it will have a fighting chance. There will come a point when we will need to find ways to trick the electronics into upping the main line pressure.

The axles and diff will probably hold up much better behind the auto.

Are you referring to me? I'm NBP and I think the turbo'd TL is SSM. Mine looks champagne maybe, because of MIAMI's Sunny reflection on the awesomeness of NBP.

^love that picture

*Wonder what he had to sacrifice in features with his tune, if anything at all. Really, the tune is the corner stone of this project. That's the only thing that has stood in the way of a few others throwing a blow dryer on.

Good job pass427, and anyone who helped him.. Thanks for the updates too because many people say, but never do.. Can't wait to see the vids!

What ever happened to the OP Banelba? And why is his taking so long?

Also curious pass427, what other performance modifications do you have done? Pulleys, what exhaust, etc..?

The HP isn't what's particularly impressive. There have been MT S/C TL's making ~330. What IS impressive is the 333 ft lbs of torque.

you said it lol.

i have no traction through 1-2 gears already, with my measly 287 tq numbers

im really curious to see the tq curves, cause im im sure he's hitting peak tq at a much lower rpm too. i could imagine what traction would be like with 333 tq nevertheless, very impressive, but these numbers dont mean squat, if you cant get the power to the ground.
