Whoa what is Doug doing there? I had the honor of letting Doug use my car as a baseline calibration for the TSX FlashPro .

How much boost are you seeing now with the HBP?

I'm running 3.5 lbs of boost.
With the high boost pulley I made an extra 25 hp and with the tune it added another 13 hp. My car still had the stock jpipe and third cat on. Another 20+hp could be seen with a atlp part like the 3inch v2r
List of mods
3.5 type. S engine
Atlp quad catback exhaust
Ct engineering supercharger w 2.95 hbp
Rdx injectors
Rv6 pcd
Hondata flash pro w/ tune
Cold air intake

The power is fucking good. It's soo fast

Is 3.5lb of boost what the Comptech is supposed to be? For some reason I thought it was 6psi and the HBP was to make it 9. So you are only hitting 3.5lbs of boost with the HBP?

If 350whp was realistic with stock exhaust (PCD and J Pipe ok) I'd consider it, but damn i hate the way the screws sound, and it makes exhaust so much louder.

I wouldn't say fast - more like quick - but I'm glad to see your project has come together finally

Tomorrow will bring light to this thread to see if a jpipe makes power. I'm the test dummy for the atlp v2r jpipe

310whp is great, plenty for the streets, but if you try playing with some "fast" cars you may be itching for more power.

Just the v2r jpipe or full v2r exhaust and jpipe?

Jpipe and mid pipes. But what's interesting about the dyno test it will perform against all j pipes on the market. It's going to be another j pipe shoot out.

Can't wait to see this!! Are you going to post any results right after (like a summary) or do we have to wait for Marcus' thread on it? Either way thanks for being the dyno guy!

I am under the same impression. It states 4-5 psi on their pulley and I thought HBP were about 8-10 psi so how in the world is OP getting 1.5 or 1.9 psi at first and then with HBP is only 3.5 psi? Am I missing something here

Those boost numbers are for 3.2 motors. I thought I read that the extra displacement is the reason boost numbers are lower. But that was months ago when I was looking into doing this.

Dav, snap some pics of midpipes if possible! My last update said I wouldn't get mine for another 3-4 weeks.

Does the 3.5 really have that much airflow increase over the 3.2? To go from 5-6PSI down to 1.9 or so? I didn't think the N/A numbers were that much different. i know people swap the 3.7IM but is the 3.5 IM that much bigger?

I'm not too knowledgeable on positive displacement blowers (is this even classified as such since it is a roots, but does not sit post throttle body?). I think that is the thing that made me dislike the CT so much. It's like a goofy implementation of a good idea.

I believe the standard pulley is 3.5psi, HBP is around 6 and Max boost pulley was around 9-10.

Marcus is a good guy. He is very dedicated to the acura community and his customers. It was a pleasure to see him work and play for 5 hours. This guy is super quick with his installs and very educated with cars. I had a great time hanging out with him.
