Cool Installed!

got the v3 jpipe from richies thanksgiving sale, came in about 4 days later to NJ. I upgraded from the ATLP v1 and ATLP race pipe, and i have to say i love the extra torque and pickup this jpipe given me!

J-pipe out of the box

Side-by-side with my old ATLP V1 jpipe and ATLP race pipe

Installed

Gotta give it to richie on this one, great service, fast shipping, quality product, all plus's across the board!

^How long did it take you to install it and could you notice the hp/torque increase right after installing it?

I had my cousin do it, he has access to a lift so it only took about 20 minutes. I upgraded from an ATLP v1 jpipe and ATLP race pipe so the difference wasnt insane at first. the biggest thing i notice is the increase in torque, the HP difference isnt too big for me to notice. But the difference i felt when i had the ATLP setup was definitely a noticeable increase in power so i can only imagine one would feel the same way with this pipe.

The install really depends on how rusted the bolts are. mine werent bad at all so they were easy to take off. If they are very rusted and stuck on, air tools or possibly even blow torching the bolts off may be needed.

very cool, thanks for sharing. i should have mine here in a few days, can't wait to put it on.

did it make it noticeably louder? i just installed a non-res xlr8 exhaust on, so i'm wondering if the v3 jpipe will add any more noise.

I got stage 2 exhaust done at the same time as this install but the only sound difference I can tell is the slight resonance of the j pipe at about 3K rpm's if you're stepping on it. Also depends on if it's cold or not.

thanks for the input guys. i was actually hoping it would not increase the sound. this new exhaust is plenty loud and i don't want to add to it

A little late, but my mom ordered me one of these earlier on this month as a christmas gift. Great service, fast shipping, and I'm very happy with the j-pipe. Noticable gains and a nicer, deeper tone. Once the high flow pre-cats come out, I'm will definitely be ordering those.

Noticed the same thing, but from about 2500 to 3500 rpm, also when off the gas and slowing it resonates at the same spot. Its not too bad when it is warm though. Richie says it is normal. I have only had it on for a week and a bit so we will see what some more time and some carbon buildup does.

As far as power increase goes, feels much stronger in the mid range. Didn't notice much up top but i prefer the power where i normally drive anyway. The rest of my car performance wise is stock.

Another satisfied customer!!! Installed a week ago, all the hype is real. The pull from 2-5k at WOT is crazy. Def. the most power gains from any mod short of a super/turbo charger. I have ATLP quads and noticed a very slight increase in the "growl" of the exhaust note on WOT but in normal driving there is zero difference. This car definitely does not feel "Acuraish" anymore!

I will write more later but I wanted to say Richie has a great product here and if you are STILL thinking about it. STOP! Just buy it!!!!

No sales for a while, inventory is a little low I am estimating we will be out of stock late March.

Uh oh...
If may need to get on it sooner than later then. Otherwise I'll have to scour the black market.

Congrats on making a "must have" mod for this car. That is great...you know it's a great product when people are selling their "other" Jpipes for this specific one.

Haha I'm having the same problem man. Really want to get one of these j-pipes but no cash. Just did Tein SS and EDFC so I'm tapped for a while.

Saving takes too long haha. Good to hear the hype is real though

Hey man, I am on the verge of buying the j-pipe and couldn't figure out how to calculate shipping from your website. So, any idea what shipping to GA 30126 would cost? Any azine discounts?! Thanks.

Shipping is $20 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Sorry no discounts right now.

Based on the going rate of sales volume you would estimate you have inventory until end of March? I will likely pull the trigger, just want to be realistic about the time I have to make a decsion either way.

As everyone keeps saying...this is a must have...extra oomphhhhh...more fun to drive AND makes the car feel "lighter" when accelerating meaning I can probably save some gas too.

I had the same symptoms after I did the stage two mod... the resonance at low rpms was there for a few weeks n now it is completely gone . I don't think the jpipe has anything to do with this noise .. I love the sound of it now but I can't wait till I get my rv6 jpipe.

Is there a group buy for it?

Nope...asked him that earlier. And supplies are VERY limited.
Last Thursday, "quantity of 4 left"...
Yesterday "quantity of 2 left"...and now 1. Would be surprised if it made it to the end of the day and he doesn't restock that quickly I don't think.
Damn you Richie and your Jpipe and all the rave reviews!
Between seeing the quantity almost gone...AND doing my taxes last night and seeing a return...I HAD to jump on this!

^no way, he'll make more.

i'm sure he's been busy as shit with the v3 pcds and his exhaust. who knows...maybe he has a bunch of the v3 jpipes and just hasn't updated his website.

no worries matt.

I'm sure those are all true, but when I asked about a group buy of some kind...his response was, not in the foreseeable future and that he expected his stock of jpipes to run out by end of March.

Looks like that happened early. I'm sure he'll make more, but I think we'll have to wait for them.

PS...I'm the reason it went from qty 2 to 1 last night

I still have some in stock, that number on the site is just how many that are ready to ship. Supply is pretty low I wouldn't wait too long.

I have been crazy busy trying to finish this exhaust and geting some new products ready for spring.
