Nope still the same price. The cost to make this jpipe is much higher due to the complexity.

Final prototype comes in next week. I've seen pictures and it is sexy.

Of course not, there might be a long wait if you order at the wrong time. We are down to 2 jpipes and will be getting 25 more next week. There will also be 20 sets of PCDs with the jpipes.

No estimate cost yet, it all depends on the labor of having the tips and cans welded on. Since everyone wants customs tips to be unique how many would be interested in a exhaust without tips. That way you could go out and get exactly what you wanted.

I was hoping you would consider that as a possibility, however would you have a double outlet muffler so 2 single tips could be welded (ala the ATLP style) or a single exit where a split double tip could be welded (ala the XLR8 style)?

DO IT! That is going to be a winning combo - the new design philosophy of your exhaust combined with the ability to customize the tips will make it a winner. It will also likely make the tip-less exhaust option slightly less expensive for those on a budget. However you may want to offer one or two tip options for those people that will want a simple bolt on exhaust and arent interested in doing custom tips.

I agree with the "No Tips" as being just an option. But, still offer the system with tips to allow it to be a complete bolt-on.

I'm looking for HP gains but I'm clueless on the techie talk... where would I go to get something like this swaped out? Should I search for a performance parts shop or can somebody like Midas put this on?

Where are you located? Any performance or muffler shop should be able to do it. Some might not want to mess with the cat, I would just call around first.

V3 Jpipe is awesome. I'm really enjoying having this on my stock exhaust. Richie, can't wait to see your exhaust. Prototype was in the works when I last saw you in mid-May. Looking forward to the release.

Richie, you have to share some info on this new exhaust sooner then later. I'm holding off on the j-pipe till I decide on an exhaust system, I'd rather order all at once seeing as shipping to Canada and customs would be dealt with in one shot.
When do you expect you'll be able to share some news with us?

Just installed my J-Pipe and I gotta admit I'm impressed. I can't quantify or measure the added performances gains, but my '07 TL-S Auto definitely sounds and pulls more aggressively than before.

Pipe bolted on with no fuss with minimal cutting to the plastic cover/shield. No smell or objectionable noises, just a nice added growl to let you know its not quite stock.

I promised myself to leave this TL-S alone, but now I'm eyeing a AEM CAI next. Thx again Richie for the excellent service and sale.

how much does this j pipe go for?

Introducing the RV6 V3 long tube J-pipe. This design is the result of months of hard work and testing. Four hours of dyno time was spent testing everything from piping sizes to tube length in order to tune this J-pipe for maximum gains. Over 10 revisions were made to the initial prototype in order to equalize runner length and most importantly maximize ground clearance. By tucking one pipe behind another we were able to do this with minimal cutting to the splash guard. (might not have to be cut) By completely removing the 3rd cat runner length was increased in order to take advantage of exhaust gas scavenging.

Dyno tests were performed on an unmodified 05 automatic base TL with 55k miles using a AWD Mustang dyno. We choose this vehicle because it is most common among the community. Higher gains are to be expected with the manual base and TL-s.

13 WHP peak gained
7 WTQ peak gained

15 WHP average gained
12 WTQ average gained

The introduction pricing for the V3 J-pipe will be set at $450 plus shipping. This J-pipe is much more complex to build and requires about twice the material then the earlier models. By reducing the number of flanges we are able to offer this J-pipe cheaper than any other J-pipe and race pipe combo.

Features:
2.25" Primaries
2.5" Outlet
Mandrel bends
TIG welding
Stainless 304 Piping and flanges

The J-pipe will be available around May 1st. I may get them a little before hand but I do not want to disappoint anyone.

I am taking preorders now.

I just orderd the jpipe a couple of minutes ago, BUT man I can't wait to see this exhaust you've created.IF it is possible, would you be able to make some torched tips? like this ???I honestly can't find a place in boston that can do this type of tip. I really hope you can do it!! but if you can't, is there a place I can go (website) where they make and sell custom tips? I'm looking to get some 120mm tips.
