Sorry to let you all down, but you're not gonna get to many more pics or vids for a while, cuz the car is going into the body shop to get all the damage from the tree that fell on it repaired. Will post more pics and vids when I get it back. Hopefully I'll have some dyno runs shortly after I get it back.

Up in portsmouth, nh. On dec 12 we got a real good ice storm up there. Got about 4k worth of damage to it. It'll be all better here in about a week or two.

Hint for any one wanting to try this kit, cutting all the covers really sucks. I have been at the shop all day still working on this...... Front engine cover finally fits is the 32 any easier?

^ forced induction always "raises the temp" of the air being pushed into the engine.... but since these s/c'ers are so low boost, the increase isnt that bad
some people choose to methanol inject their car, to keep it running cooler
this thread is nuts.. i thought i was gonna be the first to do it, but i didnt man up and shell out the paper "hoping" to get it done.. good for you both, you may have cracked open the books on this.... you guys should get a slight percentage or like a couple of $$'s of all s/c kits sold to 3.5L owners from CT engineering
i spoke on the phone many times with Nate from CT.... the only reason they never ventured into it, was because they were concerned the M62 blower wouldnt provide enough power for the 3.5L engine, since it was already a small blower for the 3.2L.... if thats a major problem, the HBP will surely compensate for more whp.... but make sure to install some gauges to properly monitor all your temps and a/f... especially BEFORE you dyno it and go ripping apart the streets... if you dont have the HBP on yet, it may not be a problem, just make sure the ACM is making the neccesary adjustments to your car
if you ever choose to go crazy enough, some dude in the 2G forums, ripped apart his blower, and put the M90 core inside of it... blew my mind when i saw that thread

Nate was a big help on this project, and he gets mad props from me. He is calling me a 7 am to talk more about the install.
When are you going to let me do your install? Black?
Ours is still a work in progress, but 2 cars would be fun too.... We are looking into a hbp and an overdrive pully to get us in the 8 pound range, but the high compression scares the heck out of me........... My over all goal with this car is 400+ with an aftercooler, and the rest of the exhaust options, i think it can get done with the 5 pounds we already have

ive done alot of research on this topic....
the 11:1 is a scary c/r.... a few folks blew their 3.2L with the HBP.. not sure it was because of the c/r, or the fact that these cars never got a fair tune... although one of the guys that blew his engine, was like the 1 out of 5 people that got the inhouse HONDATA reflash
the regular pulley may not even be making 5lbs of boost on the engine.. most 3.2L owners varied from 4-5, so its possible you might only make 4lbs....
make sure to install some guages though, seriously... 04accordcpe mentioned it before too... monitor that stuff just to be safe....and a boost gauge would be a nice touch too.. maybe even oil/water temps....
im real curious to see how this cars a/f runs.... make sure to get a/f readings from the dyno...
so, did everything bolt in 100%? including the main bracket that bolts to the transmission mount?
has his vtec engagement point been lowers with the ACM ?? i believe its supposed to go from like 4700 to 3000 or something
oh and for dyno #'s... depending on the dyno used... 400whp mayyyy be a bit of stretch...
i am FULLY bolted up, 2.5" out of the block, and a generous dyno pulled 293.xx whp on my 5AT.... so that same dyno, with a 6MT, i would expect like 315whp... so with the blower, HBP ... and a SERIOUSLY LEGIT tune, the car can make 380-390whp in my opinion

.... .... .... ... ....
First time reading this thread and it was very entertaining. Congratulations on making the first Type S supercharged. Blackura I really thought you were going to be the first one attempting this project. Now it is done and there is no hopes. Just need to spend the money dude.
I am also attempting a project like this. One of the guys that I know said that it is definelty possible to supercharged the RL. BUT I might need to reflash the ECU...etc.,etc. alot of things that made no sense to me
My only concern is blowing out the tranny. I know the Type S and the RL have the same tranny, so it should hold up. The guy who could do it for me said he could attempt and is 80% sure it could be done. The other 20% is fitment problems etc...Once again alot of things that I didn't understand but still learning.
Like Blackura, I could spend the money on the supercharger. But nervous the project will fail.
Once again OP Congratulations

Congrats on the successful install guys!
It takes balls to get up and be the first to do something like this.
I'm glad everything worked out for the operation.
...looking forward to seeing the dyno and other videos.

really??? thats the first i heard of this. ive bought 3 harnesses from them and never heard of such a thing. they dont list an AEM fi/c PnP harness for my year accord and they were happy to make a custom one for me without demanding a quantity that needed to be ordered. weird

While his car is down maybe a good time to take care of that before he is let down by the clutch frying on the dyno. Not that the stock clutch is ok,it is for now.I believe it may be in his best interest to get it done along with some good poly mounts on the motor and trans.

All of the power this car could make will be worthless unless he has an upgraded clutch to handle it.

thats why i giggled when he said he only spent 5k so far. didnt figure in gauges, EMS, tune, injectors, after/intercooler, fuel system upgrades, engine mounts, clutch yada yada yada..... and everything else that can go wrong with this new found power. im a prime example of that lol... its never ending. once your in this deep and commited, theres no return.

Not sure, maybe if you want to get the price of the harness to their normal prices you ahve to buy 5 at a time. That is what they told me when I called. I just spoke to Rustin a few hours ago about something else. I'll ask him again tomorrow. From our last convo I believe he said the 04-05 ECU is the same and all the 06-08 ECU's are the same, including Type S, but don't quote me. I have to look again.
