Project Blown TL Type S is underway
I'm so excited about gettin to drive my car this weekend. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep for the rest of the week. All are welcome to attend the dyno, but as subsonicman said, it's still a work in progress, so please, like mama always said (in a thick southern drawl), "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". But, seriously if you wanna come, come, if not, well, f*ck you! JP. Hope to see some of you there.
Well... At least we appear to have prrof of it running and moving. More than we ever saw with Lookinco 3.5L SC.
Good luck boys, hope you're successful in this endeavor.
I'm interested in your custom CAI's, BTW.

S_heng, what mods do you have other than the blower?
Blackura is fully modded and is putting down ~300 to the wheels.

Pre-cats-20hp
J-pipe- 11hp
3rd cat delete- 6hp
Pulley- 7hp
...These are the HP numbers for an n/a engine, I'm thinking you'll get more out of the precats and j-pipe since you're s/c'ed.
So at least another 45HP fully modded, bringing it up to ~370whp. Respectable!

i made 294whp before the ATLP HFC... im sure that was good for like 4-5 ponies... so i am almost at 300whp... all depends on the dyno... i was expecting around 320 from this TL-S...
put a J-pipe, HFC and precat deletes on that thing... 340-350whp
do you have the dyno sheet? can you scan it in and upload? we need to see the A/F ratios, peak hp/tq numbers, vtec engagement and so on.....
So if i can just go back to the installer real quick... ALL you had to do , was hook up the comptech ACM? obviously, the wiring pinouts were different because a different ecu, but you hooked the same wires up as per comptech calls for in the UA6 install?

321 is pretty good, wish you guys had went to that dyno before installing the blower tho... that way we'd know more or less what the gains were
most dyno's have a stock manual S at or around 250hp... so this would show anywhere from 50hp to 75hp depending on the dyno...
still some very respectable numbers for a darn j35

We really need to see the A/F ratios? Any audible detonation? I am pretty certain the 06-08 TL ECU's are the same in terms of wiring/pinouts, at least that is what Boomslang told me (IIRC).

queens roads FTL...

......i hear the whine tho
