Sounds good. This thread should be just for purchasing and not anything technical.
I don't know if the mods agree but smaller more specific threads might be more helpful especially for search and reference purposes after the fact. Then once resolved, just end them with a resolution and start a new one if it's not related.
These single threads turn into monsters that have no meaning unless you read everything. And then there are some discussions that turn out like ours and ruin it for everyone.

^^^ Yes....i agree....
the reason this thread got technical is because people wanted to know what they are getting and getting into, which IMO makes perfect sense....but once everyone gets their ECU you will see "build" and "progress" thread floating around

I know I said I was done with this thread but I just got off the phone with Rodney and I want to help him as much as I can.
What I would suggest is that each one of you create your own threads after you receive your units. There are way too many variables and things like Swampy changing things after Rodney configured it a different way is just going to lead to disaster.
Also, there is a lot of garage/misconceptions being stated that can be better handled individually.
I am not here to bash anyone and I also apologize for losing it recently.
Rodney has a full time job, a baby on the way and a ton of work with this business he is trying to get going. As I said before and I'll say it again, he is one person doing some remarkable things. He is not AEM, HKS or the like with massive resources and deep pockets.
Let's try to keep these discussions as clean as possible and stop posting summary entries of each persons interpretation if what was stated.

^^^ you pass at reading....
i think earlier (couple months back) this calibration was missing....when i spoke to Rodney in December about the ECU he told me "all you gotta do is connect a hose from Vac port to ECU through the firewall".....
I hope this calibration will apply to my ecu when it comes to me

I will be on later to explain ,the Ms3 can use the oem map sensor or the map sensor within Ms3 of course we have to config each box before it goes out for either map sensor ,NOW FOR N/A APPLICATION THERES NO NEED FOR VACUM HOSE REASON BEHIND THIS NOT ALL MEMEBER HAS AFTERMARKET MOUNTS WHAT DOES MOUNTS HAVE TO DO WITH ECU ? Well withoem mounts tgeres literally no provision to connect vacum hose unless you get a vacum distribution block which then would leave us with more ports or p2r throttle body spacer ,(has a provision vacum port ) ....the tl only has two vacum ports of the manifold one brake booster ,next is for oem mounts WE CANNOT Tee INTO The PROVISION For THE OEM MOUNTS CANNOT AND WILL NOT GET CORRECT READING NEEDED TO RUN ECU ........FOR BOOSTED APPLICATIONS WE DO RUN VACUM HOSE AND USE THE MS3 MAP SENSOR AS IT IS ABLE TO READ A LOT MORE BOOST PRESSURE THAN OEM MAP SENSOR .............

No guesstimation it is wired to read the oem map signal and calibrated ,when you do recieve ecu back ill eliminate the vacum hose feature

Interesting that he's finding ways to make these things much easier for people to install.
I installed my gauges on my a-pillar trim. Big mistake. Every teeny bopper with a subie seemed to zoom in on that. So I just bought a replacement and I am going to move mine down to the steering column.

i know Justn's 6MT with PCD's and Jpipe made ~241, we know that combo (jpipe and PCD's) makes ~30hp so stock 6MT = ~211hp
stock (intake and greddy exhaust) 6MT with stock ECU made ~224hp (if i remember correctly) and after the ecu the I/E 6MT was ~247....
i would think the intake and exhaust makes (224-211) ~10-12hp at the most....
hope i answered your question in all possible manners
DO EEEETTTT....
remember to pay to the new paypal id else you wont get your ECU

I'm wondering .. I have an accord V6 2008 6speed manual 3.5liter
Would this work for me? Do I need a different harness? ..
Subscribed to this and bookmarked lol
I have Rv6 Jpipe , under drive pulley and magma flow
Very very curious about this

^^^ glad you took my advice and posted on the thread
I will repeat cliffs of what i said in the PM:
"ECU should work, different harness needed, post on thread for more informative people to provide more accurate data"

For me, learning about the ecu is just an academic pursuit. But if Rodney makes the ecu able to control the 5AT with the ability for producing lightening quick gear changes and to quit cutting the throttle between shifts, I will be customer #1 for that revised model.

I am looking for a more compact solution. There was one of HiSpeed's pictures that showed one of the thin gauges foam taped in between the factory openings. I won't do that but want that for more flexibility. They can also display two different sensors on one gauge and can flip things around on the fly.

Why aren't you asleep dude? Aren't you scheduled for a turbocharged road trip this weekend?

No problems. Just make sure the bung is installed correctly. I've read mixed reviews but you never really know what actually went wrong. I imagine people are killing these things at the sensor end and blaming the gauge.
